3490ArticleVaporman87@Supes: I tried to recall any woman that I found attractive and enjoyed seeing in films and TV. They are exclusively 80's women, but after the 80's my crushes moved to actual girls in my school or local area.My Retro CrushesMar 27, 2016View
3491ArticleVaporman87Wow. I had heard of Ryan Leaf a few times, but did not know he was such a complete and utter failure. LOL. That's just pathetic. I do hope he manages to scrape together some kind of halfway decent existence, but it certainly does look like he needs to do a lot of work on himself before that can happen. Great piece Rick.Washed Up Celebrities: Ryan LeafMar 28, 2016View
3492ArticleVaporman87Almost exclusively, my memories of Easter in the 80's consist of only two things... those blow up Easter Bunnies from the title card you've used, and large, hollow, chocolate bunnies. I know there was a great deal more to it than that, but the memories are fuzzy. Cadbury Eggs were certainly consumed, I can remember doing so, and aside from Easter you couldn't find them around.80's Easter memoriesMar 28, 2016View
3498ArticleVaporman87I only caught Saved By The Bell intermittently, so I was not up on all the ongoing drama. I would get in right in the middle of something, not really understanding everything that had gone on prior to my viewing. That being said, it was easy to see that the producers had fun playing up the relationships between the six of them. Specifically Zach and Kelly, Slater and Jessie, and Screech and Lisa. It's nice to get a breakdown of the whole romance and how it eventually turned out, for those of us not privy to that.Retro TV Romance: Zack & KellyApr 01, 2016View
3503ArticleVaporman87This captures the whole Virtual Reality craze SOOO well. It is indeed laughable to think back on what we considered to be "virtual reality" in those early days. I never really experienced anything, even still today, that I could consider to be authentic virtual reality. But we are certainly getting closer than ever. What with Google and many other tech companies presenting their futurewares that will produce images from the gear on your face that "adhere" to the surfaces around you, and so forth. We could be fast approaching the style of virtual reality that we thought we would get from films like Lawnmower Man. Time will tell.Virtual RealityApr 06, 2016View
3509ArticleVaporman87Sectaurs had a cool enough novelty going for it, with the hand puppet insects and the cool character designs. But in the end they just felt like a toy line full of Buzz-Off's relatives. Which really isn't that enticing... no offense to Buzz-Off. It is nice to see so much effort go into creating worlds and interesting characters for the line. That is something that was still a novel idea at the time. Most companies would have settled for half baked and overused plots and stories. Nice to see that such a thing didn't happen here.Action Figure Comics Review - SectaursApr 11, 2016View
3510ArticleVaporman87A lot of my exposure to Star Wars in my early days came in the form of merchandise. I don't remember ever watching the movies until around high school, by which time the films themselves would have been over and done with for about four or five years. It was in high school that my Star Wars nerd friend forced me to watch all the films on VHS tape... many times over. From there, I felt more of a connection to the story and the characters. I still wasn't a big Star Wars nerd, but I cared enough about it to collect a few movie related things here and there. Probably my favorite Star Wars merchandise was the Super Nintendo game series. Those games really did a good job of capturing what made the movies great.Star Wars: The Past AwakensApr 11, 2016View
3508ArticleVaporman87Great review of the comic series, Hoju. I think my problem with most comic book series spawned from a toy line that ALSO had a cartoon series, was that I didn't like being confused with all the different character and story elements. Many times you would have pretty big differences in the cartoon and the comics. Origin stories would differ, character attributes would differ, and character personalities might not always be consistent between them. This was really an issue with the He-Man and the MOTU line. The mini-comic world greatly differed from the cartoon world. There were so many differences that you just had to decide which it was that you were going to base your playtime off of.Action Figure Comics Review - VisionariesApr 11, 2016View
