3913ArticleHoju KoolanderAll classics. I think I played Monopoly more than the others, but had I owned Operation it would have been my favorite. I'm waiting for my kids to get older so we can get into games like Retro Manic, I hear good things ;) May 28, 2017View

3426ArticleHoju KoolanderAll great mentions of additional wrestler appearances on TV. I think there were also quite a few cameos on an 80s wrestling based sitcom called "Learning the Ropes" starring former pro football player, Lyle Alzedo, forgot to mention. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6yeqBYt5aEA5 Pro Wrestlers In Prime TimeMar 07, 2016View

3092ArticleVaporman87All of those masks are stellar for their time, and look great even by today's standards. Especially the Gremlins Collector's masks. Those are just incredible. I would have LOVED to have a matching costume for a mask like that for Halloween. I don't recall ever seeing masks of this quality around as kid. At least not in your typical department store. Everything was Ben Cooper or Collegeville.Retro Rubber MasksNov 09, 2015View

973ArticlepikachuloverAll the commercial jingles I remember from my youth have ruined me! Whatchamacallit is ingrained in my mind along with Caramello, Ring Pop and Juicy Fruit. I seemed to like candy jingles. Makes sense I love candy. I remember the Superman ad since I'm a big Seinfeld fan. At least you didn't use that 1984 Apple ad. I'm so sick of hearing about that ad! Maybe it's because I've been studying mass media in college. I think the Smart Beep ad was performed as a skit at one of my high school assemblies along with one of those old "Tampax was there" ads. My school assemblies had strange themes like commercials. Other themes they used separately were Disney and robots. I'm not sure why the assemblies needed a theme. My high school was weird!Super Bowl CommercialsFeb 01, 2014View
