1942 | Article | Vaporman87 | I just realized the ultimate irony... vkimo has passed NLogan for highest rated article HERE with this one. LOL. RJ is still influencing us, even on other sites. | Feb 10, 2015
1960 | Article | Vaporman87 | Well that stinks. At least there was forgiveness for you in the end. I know there have been interactions with my friends growing up that I definitely needed forgiveness from someone for (just see my comments on Hoju's "Being The Fat Kid" article). Even so, these are really just innocent, youthful mistakes that don't matter in the grand scheme of things. | How to ruin a friendship without really trying | Feb 11, 2015
1964 | Video | Vaporman87 | Look! It's one of the 500,000 TMNT variants that Playmates foisted on eager young fans. LOL. At least these seemed to have a functional purpose. | TMNT Mutations | Feb 11, 2015
1965 | Article | Vaporman87 | Also the Calvin and Hobbes pic should sway you. LOL | Remembering RetroJunk | Feb 11, 2015
1969 | Video | Vaporman87 | I'm recalling an article here on useless variants... yeah, this one. Slam Dunkin' Don? I wonder how many hapless kids made their parents buy that one? LOL | TMNT Mutations | Feb 12, 2015
1970 | Article | Vaporman87 | Now that you mention it... yes, that Iron Man does look like a alternate color Dead Pool. LOL. I'll never get over the shape shifting Punisher image though. | The Curse of the Variant | Feb 12, 2015
1971 | Article | Vaporman87 | Mmmm... your description of OK makes me thirsty for some myself (if I was still allowing myself to drink soda, that is). This is a story I have lived through many times over. Some days I feel cursed that any food or drink product I enjoy will quickly disappear as soon as I proclaim it "good". The list is quite long... Oreo Cereal, Sugar Free Oreos, Snackwells mini chocolate chip cookies, Swordfish (though it's made a comeback everywhere now - FINALLY), etc. So you're certainly not alone in your affinity for things to consume that disappeared. Who knows... maybe one day everything WILL be "OK" again. :) P.S. Congrats on being the first to utilize the new "Color" background option. It looks great in white. | Things Are Going To Be OK | Feb 12, 2015
1973 | vhsCover | Vaporman87 | I love your description of this one. LOL. I didn't even realize Chuck Norris HAD a son... let alone did I know he tried his hand at acting. This looks amazingly hilarious. Perhaps we should skewer this one in the Theater some time. | Survival Game | Feb 12, 2015
1977 | Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. Maybe, one day, that will be all anyone sees when they visit www.retrojunk.com. Scary. | Remembering RetroJunk | Feb 12, 2015
1983 | Article | Vaporman87 | I think you are right that our desire for nostalgic feelings rests with the experiences and trials of our youth. Though, in my case, I was the kid with lifelong friends... Living and growing in the same community all my life. I still had to deal with the fallout of divorce and all that brings with it. But in the end it afforded me a new brother who I still consider a brother even now (his mom and my dad are divorcing now too). I think in light of that, what I'm looking for is to celebrate the good times and have them somehow benefit my children. | Being The Fat Kid | Feb 12, 2015 |
