2949ArticlekidcoffeeAs a kid I hated those cursed McDonalds trick or treat buckets as I felt I was gypped an actual toy, but looking back now those were super cool. In fact I still have my original collection somewhere in my house gathering dust. I really should give them a proper display. As for the McNugget monsters, those I loved. Probably my second favorite McDonald's toy of all time with the first being the McRobots. Both of which have caused me a lot of wasted time on Ebay trying to buy back a piece of my childhood. Great article. It brought back a lot of fantastic memories. Oct 15, 2015View

3164ArticlekidcoffeeI'm happy to report that on the trip home, true to her word, my mother purchased me my very first Atari. There were very strict rules about its use ie only on weekends and I had to prove my homework was done, but otherwise I was now free to game. We were free to game I should say as both of my parents got in on the action with me. I don't remember a time I've seen my father so happy as when he was playing Pac-Man. He wasn't very good at it, but man he loved to play. As for my mother's aversion I did ask. She blames an article in Woman's Day which stated that video games are responsible for tearing apart families. I'm not sure I buy it especially seeing that my mother never read Woman's Day, but thankfully her hatred was short lived. As for the Greeks, I know. That's all I'll say about that. Overall it was one of the most memorable Christmases I've ever had. Well actually there was one other, but I'll save that one for next year. One last aside, I forgot to add in that I also illustrated my my cover photo. Not a big deal, but I did want to mention it. Anyway thank you for the kind words!!!Perfect GameDec 10, 2015View

3184Articlekidcoffee@NLogan I was going to agree with Vaporman that she would probably have multiple heart attacks at once, but the more I think about it the more I'm convinced that she's actually holed up in her basement secretly playing Grand Theft Auto. She's finally found an outlet to channel her rage and she loves it. @Vaporman87 Thank you for the compliments.Perfect GameDec 11, 2015View
3461ArticlekidcoffeeMan this brings me back. I totally had those wrist racers too. Loved mine to death. As for the confederate flag I had no idea there was any stigma attached to it at all as a kid. Heck I used to think it made the regular flag seem boring.Random Dukes of Hazzard MerchandiseMar 17, 2016View

2556ArticleAngelOtterI loved Pokemon (and still do!), The cards got banned from my school because kids were selling them and the parents were getting mad that their kids were using lunch money to buy them. That just made us want them more of course. I still buy every new game that comes out. Age of PokemonAug 22, 2015View
