4899ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz What, you don't think kids are getting a decent education from all their apps? Yeah, me neither. @Benjanime Yeah, I have a few issues of Nintendo Power with retro celebrities like Wil Wheaton and Michael Dorn from Star Trek: The Next Generation, New Kids On The Block and then some totally forgotten performers like The Jets. Mar 29, 2019View
4498ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz What, you didn't have a Barbie twins calendar or comic book? They exist, look 'em up. I have more Barbie related experiences than I would care to admit. Barbie Magazine 1988Jul 22, 2018View

4519ArticleHoju Koolander@Jkatz I still can't believe our luck, the retro hits just kept on coming. @vaporman87 If we told you the prices we got those things for your head would explode. So if you want to believe we irresponsibly depleted our savings accounts to walk away with those items, it's probably the best for your blood pressure.Rad Retro Weekend Part 2: Antique Store FindsAug 14, 2018View
4211ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz I personally mention it way too much along with the Rambo cartoon, but you're right, it was nobody's favorite. Did you buy that sealed tape? Forgotten or not, that's awesome! @comic_book_fan Yeah, that whole 90s period of watered down violent video game cartoons was crazy. Those 2 you mentioned, plus Double Dragon were memorable and do you remember Ultraforce with Prime and company?SUNDAY Morning CartoonsNov 29, 2017View
4497ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz I know, right? So bizarre. @NLogan Thanks, buddy. I knew I could count on you. Last Action Hero Movie MerchandiseJul 22, 2018View
2312ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz I feel like the whole line of Valiant books belongs on this list, since they never really had a breakout star in the mainstream. Unless you count Turok getting a game on the N64. Their artwork was pretty drab (aside from Quesada on Ninjak and later Bart Sears on X-O), but I liked the stories themselves.Five Forgotten Comic Heroes of the 90'sJun 20, 2015View
1968ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz I always saw that one at the bookstore, but I opted for The Simpsons Family Album and Bart Simpson's Guide To Life. To your comment it definitely wasn't for kids, but anything animated will catch the eyes of a child, while adults don't give it a second glance. So it was inevitably going to be a favorite in the schoolyard.Simpsons Illustrated and 90's Magazine AdsFeb 11, 2015View
