2609 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | @mickyarber For someone like Schwartz probably not. He's too old and he was never that deep (no pun intended) into Hollywood to make a serious threshold for an acting career. For someone like Chris Klein maybe, someone who had a falling out with Hollywood after developing a good path to stardom, went through a dark period in his life and has since began to rebuild upon his lost career. You never know with someone like him. | Sep 05, 2015
3199 | Article | vkimo | @mickyarber - Thanks for the kind words! I just read your piece and equally enjoyed it. You mentioned you make wood crafts, do you have a website where you sell them? | Christmas Yuleogy | Dec 12, 2015
3468 | Article | Benjanime | @mickyarber in my opinion it felt like one of my better articles as i put more thought into it than some of my past ones. i don't really have much brainstorming to offer as far as article writing goes, but i'm glad you're giving this one attention, so thanks for that :) | 20 years of Pok'emon: Looking back to the franchise as an adult | Mar 22, 2016
3565 | Article | vkimo | @micky- My wife told me about that shortly after I told her about the article. Although in this case it was a Hooters restaurant doing the prank as a sales contest, the waitress sued though. I guess the confusion for Yoda and pickups isn't ungrounded, which should cheer him up haha | Christmas Conundrum | Dec 12, 2016
3417 | Article | Vaporman87 | @Mickey: Didn't know you were a 70's baby Mick. Awesome. We 70's babies got to have the full 80's youth experience! | China Town | Mar 05, 2016
3601 | Article | NLogan | @Mick Fried bologna is relatively rare around here (mountain west), at least my brother and I are the only ones I have ever met that ate them regularly. I was surprised when looking at specific Hot Wheels cars how many I recognized. We never believed at a young age that grandma could be making up the monsters. Because we knew she was just pulling the cookies straight out of the bag and not taking a bite of each one. It never occurred to us that they were manufactured that way. In our child's eye view it was ludicrous because no one would buy a partially eaten cookie. Plus on the package only one cookie was shown bitten. The pile of cookies was undamaged. We never read the text on the bag. We took the threat of bitten cookies seriously. I also prefer Franco-American because of grandma. It is incredible to me that some of my favorite things or little things I do around the house are rooted in the ways of grandma and my time spent there. Merry Christmas to you and yours. @Vapor that is what is really about, isn't it. Making the best of the situation available. Those memories of the joyous holidays become more precious as time goes on and loved ones are no longer with us. I think the time at my grandma's is so ingrained because I only had slightly over a decade with her, but I remember so much. Foods she made me try and then I liked (we were picky). Picking food from her garden. Going to the store together, etc. | NLogan's Christmas at Grandma's House | Dec 19, 2016

5609 | Article | Vaporman87 | @Maxine - Sorry to hear that. Even here in the states, most conventions that slant toward "retro" content are too focused on retro gaming. | RetroCon 2017 Report | Mar 09, 2022
2387 | Article | mickyarber | @massreality..that's pretty cool. My younger cousin got them, and same thing happened. He tried to get into real drums, but wasn't very good, nut it got him into music. WHen the drumming didn't work out, he learned guitar instead and has done well with it in the years since. | Yesterdays: Things I DIDN'T Have As A Kid | Jul 13, 2015
2655 | Article | Vaporman87 | @massreality: So basically we can't believe a word you say. LOL. You are probably lying about not lying in this story even. For shame. Seriously though, that seems like a poor way to handle the situation on the part of the Principal. Especially if the student does not have any record of causing trouble. Then again, I've known my fair share of crappy Principals. So maybe it's just part of the job desription. | The Principal's Office | Sep 17, 2015 |
