Article | Vaporman87 | Agreed. Though I think it is one thing to use old branding in advertisements and such. It is something else entirely to incorporate those old aesthetics into the business model and see it extend to physical items and locations. THAT is what I'm waiting for. | Feb 08, 2022 | ![]() |
Article | ThatDudeintheHoodie | Agreed on that. But since I was born in 91 I experienced the late 90s | What the Nineties Mean to Me | Mar 19, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | Agreed Fulton. That was a classic scene. Regarding movie soundtracks, I rarely purchased one in my early teens. I did eventually buy the TMNT movie soundtrack (which I believe was the first soundtrack I ever purchased) and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I was 16 when that movie came out, so I was late coming to the "soundtrack" scene. After that purchase, I think movie soundtracks were the bulk of what I purchased as far as music is concerned. I liked that I could get a good mix of different styles of music, from various artists, all on one tape (or CD). | Hear ye, Hear ye! | Jan 08, 2014 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | Agreed c_b_f. My friends and I didn't exactly take to what everyone else thought of as "fun". Ours involved going to each others homes and making terrible movies, audio recordings, or just generally horsing around outside... using our imaginations. Others would have thought we were childish and immature. I didn't care. | Retro-graphic Evidence: Video Games are Cool! | Jul 14, 2015 | ![]()
Article | OldSchool80s | Agree with Vaporman on both counts. I have some favorite movies from the late-90s, but other than that... I guess it all depends on your age | What the Nineties Mean to Me | Mar 19, 2015 | ![]()
Article | Game Joy | Again, little brother, an article full of passion and charisma. Our love for the turtles will always be there (you know me well :D ) and we always can replay the games we want. ;) My memories was with the Sega Genesis version, that I finished many times. I don't find the game difficult at all. Reviewers... So yes, I miss playing the game. :D I just didn't know there's an NES version. :O | Remembering TMNT Tournament Fighters | Jul 18, 2024 | ![]()
Article | pikachulover | After the witch mask I learned my lesson. ;P If I did ever decide to go back to prosthetics I'd try to get somebody else to apply them on me. | A Little Witchy | Sep 15, 2014 | ![]()
Article | Vaporman87 | After I saw there were suddenly 8 comments on this, I knew without a doubt NLogan was involved. LOL! Well done sir! | Awesome 80's T-Shirts | Jun 13, 2018 | ![]()
Article | Benjanime | after all these unnecessary CG edits that Lucas has added in the older movies, i took it upon myself to find fanedits where all that garbage was removed and watching the films in their authentic way as they were really meant to be watched. no more CG monster butt getting in the way of an important scene. | 1995 - The Birth of a Star Wars Fan | Mar 10, 2020 | ![]()
Article | pikachulover | After a while I got better at finding the better quality toys. Sometimes they would have name brand toys. My mom would buy me male dollar store fashion dolls. They would have outfits that were made out of more expensive fashion doll left overs. I had a few that wore some Micheal Jackson doll clothes. One had a "Thriller" jacket. They were cheap and the heads would fall off. | Poor Kids Toybox | Mar 19, 2015 | ![]()
