ArticleVaporman87Okay... I'll admit that the Legends of Batman series is intriguing, but all they did with the Batman Animated Series in '94 was crank out 40,000 Batman variants and one bad guy. Good grief, if there was one thing I DESPISED about the 90's, it was the onset of the "variant"! Yes, we had our share of variants in the 80's, sure. Terror-Claws Skeletor??? But man, Kenner... and to an even greater extent, Playmates... just went OVERBOARD with the variants. Such a waste of plastic. Nice Shadow collection you have there. I enjoyed The Shadow, but never though much about it after my initial viewing. I liked Alec Baldwin at the time (less so as years passed and he became a liberal nutcase), and thought he performed the role adequately. That Shaq had his own line of figures is proof that companies would just make toys of anything popular by the mid-90's (even more so today).  Apr 27, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87I got in my truck this morning, started it up, and what was playing at that moment on the 80's on 8? You guessed it... Starship - Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now. LOL.Mannequin - An Unappreciated ClassicApr 28, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87@massreality: Agreed. Those are the types of movies that should be the target of the "reboot". Those that just kind of flew under the radar and never gained traction the first go around.Kenner Action Toy Guide '94Apr 29, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87@Hoju: Raimi? That would be very cool. I'd love to see what he could do with the character.Kenner Action Toy Guide '94May 01, 2015View

ArticleVaporman87I really can't fault any of these selections. They were all great and fun games. I would probably have a hard time leaving Ninja Gaiden, Bases Loaded, and a few others off the list though. But I think, at least as far as Bases Loaded is concerned, that has more to do with my personal experiences and investment in the game than it does quality or fun factor. Metroid is another great title that's hard to dismiss, as is Jackal. Soooo many choices... it just comes down to personal preference in the end.NES: The 5 Best GamesMay 11, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87I was thinking that as well crow. There were SOOOO many awful games out there. Many far worse than Excitebike. Even so, I think it does depend on personal experience with the game. Quality and fun factor don't always determine how much you enjoy a game. But yeah, this is a fairly accurate list of terrible titles. NES: The 5 Worst GamesMay 11, 2015View
ArticleVaporman87A nice list here, but far from my own personal favorites. LOL. Mine would likely start AND end with some lesser known players. Guys who worked harder than anyone, but never had the chance to shine. Guys like Dan Majerle, Glen Rice, and Mitch Richmond. And it would be rounded out by two top tier players who deserve more attention, but because they didn't play for the Bulls or Lakers or Celtics, never will. I'm talking about Clyde Drexler and Chris Mullin. Drexler had Jordanesque skill and talent to go along with a humble demeanor. Jordan was far from humble, and that made me dislike him and his team even more. And nobody worked harder than Mullin. NOBODY. His gym rat work ethic is legendary. But only slightly more impressive than his shooting ability. If he got going, it was lights out. A 20 footer might as well have been a layup for him. And he was easily one of the better three point and free throw shooters of the decade. My Top 5 Fave NBA Players of the 90'sMay 11, 2015View
