2924 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | My hometown had all kinds of stuff like this growing up. I don't know if you ever read them, but the Ghost Investigator books that written by Linda Zimmermann were based out of my hometown (or at least the first few were). I remember in middle school would always get into the Halloween mood by reading those books. All those hauntings and urban legends would always creep us out. | Oct 14, 2015
2961 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | @Vaporman87 Thanks man. Looking back it was more trick or treating then the holiday that made me hate it. But then again trick or treating is the whole point of the holiday. | Halloween Sucks | Oct 16, 2015

3101 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | @Hoju Thanks man. I wish the Warner Bros store was still around too. I got plenty of action figures related to DC while it was open. | Memories of the Nanuet Mall | Nov 12, 2015
3107 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | Welcome to my world pikachulover. I've always had bad penmanship, and I have never learned cursive, not even to sign my name. I simply print. This summer I had to get an ID done at the DMV. When I printed my name, the guy behind the desk asked me why. I told him I never learned cursive, and then explained that they eventually stopped teaching it in school. He was amazed that they no longer teach cursive. | Cursive Curse | Nov 16, 2015
3109 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | Same here. They taught it in elementary school up until sixth grade. After sixth grade they stopped caring. | Cursive Curse | Nov 17, 2015
3224 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | Thanks guys. I know it didn't seem Retro enough, and that's something I try to avoid in general. However, I figured since it happened long ago it fit alright. | The Post-Christmas Video Game Marathon | Dec 14, 2015
3284 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | I've been where you've been Hoju, and much like you I embraced the change. I moved out of state in the summer right before the start of 9th Grade, AKA the start of High School. I had spent my entire life up until that point in the same area I was born in. It wasn't as big of a move as California to New Jersey, but it was still a change, one of which was happening right before I started one of the most important stages of life. However, I embraced the change. I hated where I went to school growing up. I was picked on for a variety of reasons throughout middle school and parts of elementary. My 7th grade year was one of the worst years of my life. During that year I got into fights more often with those who picked on me, spent a lot of time in the principals office for those fights, and hated getting up in the morning to go to school. I'm guessing that year among other reasons was what drove my parents to move out of state. I ended up enjoying the move. I made new friends and was actually happy to get up in the morning to go to school. I'm was glad to read this article and learn of another story like mine. | Being The New Kid | Jan 19, 2016
3307 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | Thanks for the comments guys. This was a hard one to write, I actually got a little emotional when I was creating that sheet of paper photo. I'm glad to hear your own stories about bullying and overcoming it. | Being Bullied | Feb 02, 2016
3384 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | Funny man, ever since my RJ days I was planning an article devoted to Saban's other adaptions. Believe or not, I grew up on Masked Rider. It was one of my favorite shows growing up. I still have an old VHS tape filled with different episodes of the show. Looking back on it when I'm older I can see why so many people hate it, but it still holds a place in my heart. | Mighty Morphin Ripoff Rangers Part 1 | Feb 26, 2016 |
