2113 | Article | Vaporman87 | No, no, no, no, no, no... NO! It can't end like this. You danced with the girl of all girls! What happened after this? Did you call her? Did you see her again after that? C'mon man... don't leave us hanging! Cliffhangers aside, I can only wish I had a story like this to relate. Well, I suppose I have had dances like that (just Proms though) where I was thinking, "Wow. This is really happening right now." But not when it was a girl whom I had this overbearing fancy for. That's just... childhood magic. No... most of my dances were spent sitting on the bleachers, watching others enjoy themselves. Typically I was focusing on one girl in particular, hoping she would show up. Not to dance with her, as I had no guts to ask and she was WAY out of my league, but to just watch and take in her beauty in whatever nice dress she'd be wearing. Yeah... it was pretty pathetic to be me sometimes. LOL | Mar 20, 2015
2120 | Article | Vaporman87 | @vkimo: Sounds like an episode of the Twilight Zone! LOL. Boy has huge crush on girl... girl obliges boy... girl gets fixated on boy... boy fears for his life because girl won't leave him alone... EVER. | Dirty Dancing | Mar 20, 2015
2125 | Article | Vaporman87 | Yeah, Danny was not a humorous character. More of a straight, squeaky clean type who helped keep the others grounded. | Top 5 TV Dads of the 80's | Mar 20, 2015
2123 | Article | Vaporman87 | Wow. This is a heaping helping of Twilight Zone awesomeness. I never really had the chance to watch but just a few of the episodes of the old show, but what I did see always creeped me out. I think the fact that the show was in black and white added to that creepiness. I always feared that, as I watched an episode unfold, I would be tricked into thinking the ending was going to be a happy one. Then have that notion flipped on it's head when a final twist arrived. The show would do that from time to time, like someone handing you a piece of candy and then pulling it away and laughing maniacally. LOL | Forgotten Twilight Zone Episodes | Mar 20, 2015
2132 | Article | Vaporman87 | Any time you wanted a game, you should have told him it was "multi-genre" and had a racing portion somewhere in there. | My Favorite PC Games of the 90's | Mar 22, 2015
2133 | Article | Vaporman87 | That's a lot of great tunes with eyes. I would say this is a pretty great list that I don't think I would change. Also, I ALMOST got every one of the eye pictures right. I missed but one! | Top 80s Songs with EYE in the Title (+Bonus 80s Eye Quiz) | Mar 22, 2015
2134 | Article | Vaporman87 | I wish I could say that I shared in these experiences of shock in old games. I found out about Samus before I had even played one level in the game itself, thanks for my friend who had owned the game long before me. Aerith's death was something that magazines and my brother were making a big deal of, but I was not an RPG nerd, so I did not know or care about that. The fatalities of MK didn't shock me, as I had performed several in the arcades prior to getting the games on home consoles. I would say that, if I could pick one thing from an old game that shocked me, it would be hearing the sound of a voice coming from a game for the first time ever. B-17 bomber for the Intellivision was the first game to hold that honor for me. The first time I heard those words uttered from that cartridge made my eyes open wide. | Shock Me, Shock Me, Shock Me… | Mar 22, 2015

2139 | Article | Vaporman87 | I very much enjoyed this peek into your Spring Break adventures. These are the types of Spring Breaks I would enjoy most as well. Just leisurely doing things that "spring" to mind, not really going out of your way to plan exotic, complicated trips in the hustle and bustle of the usual places people go. Not having to swim through a sea of humanity to get to and fro. Just... taking it all in through peaceful drives, time with friends in familiar places, and all that. Just perfect stuff. Thanks for this TDitH. | Spring Break Growing Up | Mar 23, 2015 |
