974 | Article | Fulton4V | I spent most rainy days hoping that the water would flood our road so I didnt have to go to school the next day. The bus could not come throuh the water when it was too high. | Feb 02, 2014
1006 | Article | MissM | This was a nice article. I liked the sounds of rain playing as I read. Thanks for sharing these memories! Rainy days were always fun and special. Occasionally if the time permitted, my mom would bake chocolate chip cookies when it was raining out. Always fun for a rainy day. | Remembering Rainy Days | Feb 18, 2014
1096 | Article | DoctorRyan | I have always loved rainy days, even as an adult. Those were my "gaming days" when I would fire up my NES for some 8-bit action. Today it's games like Baldur's Gate and Diablo II. I guess that's another thing I brought from my childhood. | Remembering Rainy Days | May 21, 2014

3530 | Article | DirtyD79 | I've always liked rainy days. I remember this one house where we lived anytime there was a decent storm the power would go out which kind of sucked but storms have always fascinated me. While reading this article I mentally pictured Here Comes The Rain by The Cult playing. | Remembering Rainy Days | Apr 30, 2016

953 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was happy to see (or smell that is) that Stinkor for the Classics line was also scented with that familiar foul aroma. I would say, with regard to toys in general that scared me, I did have a tremendous fear of ventriloquist dummies. I had seen parts or the movie, "Magic", starring Anthony Hopkins. That did it for for me. And then seeing "Poltergeist" didn't help either. As far as toys that I myself owned, I once had a 4 or 5 foot tall gorilla that stood on all fours. It was an awesome toy. I personally never feared it as it stood beside my bed. But my friends who would stay the night didn't feel the same way. Most of them hated the thing. LOL. Thanks again Miss M. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
954 | Article | Mr Magic | Imagine having one of those Good Guy dolls from Child's Play. You don't want it coming to life. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
955 | Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. That would be another example of a film turning me against dolls and dummies. They get a bad rap from the film industry. And that's if you leave out the horror one feels when seeing the Garbage Pail Kids movie. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
956 | Article | The Trash Man | Stinkor's aroma is heavenly. Second only to the smell of old books [and comics]. Actually, I loved the pine scent of Moss-Man, too. I remember ordering the Classics' version for my friend for Christmas last year and, just, inhaling deeply when I opened the box he arrived in. Even through the white Mattel mailer, I was overwhelmed by how strong the smell was, and how it instantly transported me back to being a kid and picking out the original MOTU Moss-Man from the toy store. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014 |
