1717ArticleVaporman87I was never one of those kids that were frightened of Santa... or the Easter Bunny, or any other Holiday legend for that matter. Well, excepting any Halloween related legends that is. The nice thing this year about visiting Santa, was that all three of my kids were happy to do so. That is a first. Usually, at least one of them was either not excited to, or just plain frightened to sit on his lap for pictures. My oldest son actually had difficulty holding back a big smile his year. That was awesome to witness. I love the stories and pictures you have added in this. Hilarious! Dec 20, 2014View
1718ArticleVaporman87Oh yeah, I forgot to make a comment on that baker's chocolate reference! I thought I was the only one who made that mistake!!! Ha! For months I avoided touching the stuff at the warning of my mom. But finally, one day, temptation got the best of me. Never again. My thoughts at the time were, "How can something so nasty legally be labeled as chocolate?" It seemed like the crime of the century to me. The Santa DiariesDec 20, 2014View
1719ArticleVaporman87Well, really these days I prefer the Starburst "books". But any storybook will do. Not that I even do any of the activities in the book. I just like the novelty... for some reason.Stocking StuffersDec 20, 2014View
1725ArticleVaporman87@OldSchool - I'm not sure if I ever had a pair of ET pajamas, but I do know I owned an ET t-shirt, because I'm wearing it on my "ET Birthday". That was the birthday my mom had somebody make me an ET cake, which I have described in another article comment section. Basically, it was a two foot tall ET made of cake. And it tasted awful. 1729ArticleVaporman87Yeah they did get to tell Santa their wants. Funny thing too, as my oldest boy is very concerned that he may have told Santa something incorrect. I assured him that Santa is pretty smart, and I'm sure he'll know what he meant. LOLThe Santa DiariesDec 23, 2014View
1731ArticleVaporman87Wow! With the popularity of "Elf on the Shelf" these days, I would think Phroomf would be ready for a comeback. The ad campaign could tout it's roots in the heyday of Christmas lore creation, and it's pre-dating of Elf on the Shelf by decades. Personally, my wife and I began a tradition a few years ago where 3 stuffed elves (one per kid) starts doing ornery things at night. Last night, the elves brought in a case of Funko TMNT figures and Funko Disney figures and tried to open a few of them before the kids found them doing so. It was cute.
