999ArticleBenjanimei remember when the series was still dubbed by DiC that they made those silly episode edits just like 4kids, one scene in particular was when they changed a riceball to a cookie that serena was eating. i was like one of the few boys that watched it back in its 1992-1993 syndication run Feb 14, 2014View
998ArticleVaporman87Great article pikachulover! I think this resonates with me because I was similarly inspired by He-Man and the MOTU. I would decorate my various school supplies with stickers, carry around the magazine for reference when drawing, and use the coloring books to trace, then copy to a new page without tracing. This is how I developed the ability to keep the drawings anatomically correct. Certain muscles overlap others, and some are larger in proportion to others... things like that. I never took an anatomy class in order to know how to properly draw the human musculature. He-Man helped make me capable of the art that I can do today. :)Some of my First Sailor Moon Merchandise (bootlegs)Feb 14, 2014View

995ArticleVaporman87That would really throw me for a loop... having the main characters killed off halfway through. But that leaves me wondering what the second half of the book focused on??? Don't fear handing out the spoilers... give us the scoop! :) Thanks again Miss M!For the Love of V-Day! Part 3Feb 10, 2014View

992ArticleThe Trash ManGodzilla-themed Valentine's do exist. I remember stumbling upon a box of them at a dollar-store back when I lived in L.A [this was, uh, 2005/2006?]. I have no idea what happened to them, but there was also a sheet of stickers included that I used to "decorate" my name-badge at work. Moth-ah-raaaa..!For the Love of V-Day! Part 2Feb 10, 2014View
991ArticlevkimoThey should have used the LEGO approach with flags which was a piece of stiff cloth with a hole at either end of the top on bottom. Simply slide the mast down the holes and done! Placing stickers or decals on toys is an article unto itself!Rad Retro Ads Feb 08, 2014View
990ArticleMissMpikachulover, I remember getting some Tiny Toons valentine cards. I loved them so much. I really miss Tiny Toons. That was such a great show. Now Marsupilami sounds interesting, I'm not really recalling it. Vaporman, yeah, these images are totally from Jim Lee's art in the comics. lol How did the search go for any Godzilla Valentine's Day cards? I'm sure they had to have had them. For the Love of V-Day!
