1001ArticleVaporman87Those are some great Valentines cards Miss M. I would have been satisfied with just about all of them (though I was never big on Tiny Toons, my brother was more into them than I). And I especially like the attention to detail put into your card box. That is one fancy piece of work. This cracked me up: "I was essentially a fart: no one wanted anything to do with me." Still chuckling over that one. I hope your V-Day has been a great one Miss M. And thank you for all four of this series of articles on the holiday of love.  Feb 14, 2014View
1015ArticleVaporman87I was never a Power Rangers fan. I think, mainly, because the whole Japanese invasion (with Pokemon, Power Rangers, etc.) came after I was already off and into college. That being said, I respect the success of this show. Few shows are able to continue capturing the attention of new generations of kids, but this is one of them. The show has cemented it's place among the the greats... He-Man, G.I. Joe, Transformers, etc. Regarding the figures, these just scream mid-90's. Everything about them reminds me of lines like those created by Toy Biz and Trendmasters. I find it hilarious that the company couldn't be bothered to give the female characters female bodies. It looks... weird. lol Thanks for this Miss M!Flipped Out for Power Rangers!Feb 21, 2014View
1022VideoVaporman87There haven't been any text included with your recent submissions. Are you including text and it not coming through to me? If so, that may need to be looked at. But yes, I allowed this because of the films time frame. Plus it's a cult classic according to many.Donnie DarkoMar 01, 2014View
1023ArticleVaporman87I didn't have the pleasure of reading this when it was originally published on RJ. I'm glad you decided to bring it on over here, because there is so much long gone goodness here to fawn over. Many of these I have to admit I missed out on, despite the fact that I was AT LEAST a teenager when most of these made it to the scene. I do remember vividly experiencing the flavor and novelty of the McDLT, Dr. Pepper gum (my favorite soda), and Chicken Littles. I hadn't actually put it together that the Chicken Littles of today had their roots in these original White Castle style sandwiches. They are much different now indeed! It's more like a strip of chicken in a hot dog bun! Still pretty unique, but not like the original. McDonalds is hit and miss with their more "exotic" offerings. I have found that our local McDonalds has TWO very rare menu items. The first being the pizza. Our McDonalds is one of a very limited number that still offers pizza. Not just by the slice either... WHOLE family size pizzas. The flavor is very similar to what Subway had been offering as of last year. Crispy, and tasty. The second menu rarity is an ice cream bar full of Breyer's flavors. They even make waffle cones fresh right in front of you. It's very neat. Yesterdays 1: Foods Long GoneMar 03, 2014View
1024ArticleVaporman87I miss the novelty of the Saturday Morning cartoon blocks. Not just on cable, but on regular network television. With all the 24 hour cartoon channels available these days, the magic of a special time set aside for cartoons is forever lost now. But I remember it... and I remember it well.ThatDudeintheHoodie looks at Disney's One Saturday MorningMar 03, 2014View
1025ArticleVaporman87Rita Repulsa seems to have taken some of her fashion sense from Madonna. That's... unfortunate. lol I am unfamiliar with the Evil Space Aliens, mainly because of my lack of interest in Power Rangers. Now that I'm being introduced to them for the first time, I feel sad for them. They all seem so lost and out of touch with the world around them. It was a valiant effort to try to bring them all together again Miss M., but it seems to have gone south quickly. Also, how does one snarl kindly? 1026ArticleVaporman87Poor Modulok has been short changed here with a single commercial, while Glimmer has 9 images to show for her contributions. LOL. I did own Modulok from the original MOTU line, but remember very little about him. I had begun to lose interest in MOTU around the time of his release, having moved on to other, newer toys. But the combinations that could be made with his various parts seemed like a lame gimmick compared to some of the other MOTU offerings (I mean, Kobra Khan can shoot out water... Mosquitor can suck your blood... well, pretend to). My sister owned Glimmer and many other She-Ra figures, and the two of us would make the He-Man and She-Ra universes cross paths many times. I think I was a bit upset that my two female MOTU characters, Teela and Evil-Lyn, didn't have rooted hair. Why, I couldn't say. Considering I hated brushing/combing my own hair. 1037ArticleVaporman87M.U.S.C.L.E. and C.U.T.I.E. had to have been the most successful sets of immovable, tiny, plastic, monochromatic figures since the days of the little green army men. They somehow managed to capture the imaginations (and completist mentalities) of kids everywhere. I know I loved it when I was able to get a new addition to my collection. I think, to a certain extent, the same concept is big now with the "blind bag" mania that is happening at the moment. Revisiting C.U.T.I.E.Mar 12, 2014View
1040ArticleVaporman87I would say some of my favorite green toys include Moss Man in all his pine tree aromatic glory, Mer-Man (also from MOTU), the Condor motorbike from M.A.S.K., Braun from Transformers G1, my Incredible Hulk big wheel (though it was MOSTLY black, the best parts were green), and my Secret Wars Dr. Doom figure. :)Toys Go Green!Mar 17, 2014View
1042ArticleVaporman87I have NEVER heard of this game, but it's making me hungry. I am with you Miss M, my memory sucks and my wife will happily attest to that. I forget where I'm driving to five minutes into the trip. Even so, I've found that I have sufficient concentration to be able to play games such as this fairly well. But to have it all suddenly turned on end and make me switch slices with another player... that would get crazy. It's Not Delivery, It's Pizza Party!Mar 25, 2014View
