| 2233 | Article | massreality | I had all of those Nerf balls. I'll never forget my disappointment in the Siren one. It whistled alright, just not like it did in the commercial. I have a developing interest in the old heroes like The Shadow, Green Hornet, Lone Ranger, and Zorro. A few months ago, I sat down and watched The Shadow and was impressed. I don't think it's held up well, but I think if I had seen in 1994 when I was eleven, I would have loved it. I've been reading The Shadow comics that Dynamite created a couple of years ago. Garth Ennis (Preacher/Punisher) was writing them, and they were actually pretty good. I loved the covers Alex Ross did for them. He made The Shadow pretty friggin amazing. That list would include: Nick Anderson, Larry Johnson, Jerry Stackhouse, Tim Hardaway, Dennis Scott, and Glen Rice. I miss the NBA in the 90's so bad. Its probably one of the things I wish I could revive. I had so many great memories back then.
