| Video | Vaporman87 | One of the best Bond themes ever composed, in my opinion. | Dec 26, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Nice comparision there TDITH. I enjoyed this article quite a bit. I can't say I watched either show, though I would at times catch a bit here and there of Bill Nye's show. They both seemed like valiant attempts at making learning interesting. Science is one of the easier subjects (in my opinion) to make interesting, as much of it involves performing experiments and witnessing the unique and sometimes baffling results. I have to say, my opinion of Bill Nye dropped a great deal when he started running his mouth on the subject of origin science and, specifically, criticizing whole swaths of religious people for their beliefs on the subject. Apparently Bill fancies himself capable of entering that touchy and controversial area and going toe to toe with some the best minds on both sides of the subject. I think he should stick to children. | 90's Vs: Bill Nye the Science Guy vs... | Jan 02, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | Agreed Fulton. That was a classic scene. Regarding movie soundtracks, I rarely purchased one in my early teens. I did eventually buy the TMNT movie soundtrack (which I believe was the first soundtrack I ever purchased) and thoroughly enjoyed it. But I was 16 when that movie came out, so I was late coming to the "soundtrack" scene. After that purchase, I think movie soundtracks were the bulk of what I purchased as far as music is concerned. I liked that I could get a good mix of different styles of music, from various artists, all on one tape (or CD). | Hear ye, Hear ye! | Jan 08, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. I love this line: Why this look just screams, “I fight people at five in the morning at the local bar in town.” Also, I am so glad to hear that full length capes will be in this year, because I was really worried that my doing so this past week was scaring some of my fellow workers. It's good to know I'm just "ahead of the curve", and not "insane" or "losing it". Am I? | Toy Talk with Miss M: Fashion Preview! | Jan 12, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | I have never heard of this movie... and yet it has Gregory Hines, Chevy Chase (in his prime), and Sigourney Weaver? How have I not heard of this? Despite that, I may have to try and find this one on Netflix or some other service and give it a go. | Deal of the Century | Jan 12, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | I meant to add some words about Clue also. I would like to see a line of characters from that movie. That is one of the VERY few movies that I can actually REMEMBER watching in the theater. | Dream Toys | Jan 22, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | I was happy to see (or smell that is) that Stinkor for the Classics line was also scented with that familiar foul aroma. I would say, with regard to toys in general that scared me, I did have a tremendous fear of ventriloquist dummies. I had seen parts or the movie, "Magic", starring Anthony Hopkins. That did it for for me. And then seeing "Poltergeist" didn't help either. As far as toys that I myself owned, I once had a 4 or 5 foot tall gorilla that stood on all fours. It was an awesome toy. I personally never feared it as it stood beside my bed. But my friends who would stay the night didn't feel the same way. Most of them hated the thing. LOL. Thanks again Miss M. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. That would be another example of a film turning me against dolls and dummies. They get a bad rap from the film industry. And that's if you leave out the horror one feels when seeing the Garbage Pail Kids movie. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | I can still vaguely recall the smell of opening up a new NES cartridge from it's cardboard and plastic home. It's so strange how odors like that can bury itself in our memory banks for a lifetime. And like Trash Man mentioned, old comics can send you back too. | The Fear of Toys | Jan 24, 2014
| Article | Vaporman87 | On the subject of Bill Nye, I heard he will soon be debating Ken Ham from Answers In Genesis (the proprietor of the Creation Museum) on the topic of human creation/evolution. Interesting. | 90's Vs: Bill Nye the Science Guy vs... | Jan 25, 2014 |
