1173ArticleVaporman87That's awesome Mike. I've watched Summers perform on Food Network over the years, and he does exceptional work wherever he goes. I also learned of his battle with OCD, and could sympathize with him as I too was diagnosed with it. Double Dare was just one of those shows that truly went from just another game show to legendary status. The production quality of the show was always top notch, and Summers himself made it worth the watch. Not to mention it was great for kids to have a game show of their own that really did well in the ratings. Great article Mike. Thanks for this. Jul 16, 2014View
4486ArticlejkatzThat's awesome packaging for the GI Joe/Transformers tapes. Definitely would be cool if they re-released these somehow...maybe in a special commerative vhs edition, even. Live Action Winnie the Pooh looks creepy. Love the retro TV, too!Kids VHS Tapes of the 80s and 90sJun 29, 2018View
5588ArticleVaporman87That's awesome that there is a restored new version being released. It seems there are several companies out there buying up retro properties that were maybe not large scale hits, but have enough of a following to warrant new merch. I recently saw that the folks behind the "Toys That Made Us" series are rereleasing Robo Force? I rest my case. LOLRemembering The Omega VirusJan 20, 2022View
4475ArticleHoju KoolanderThat's awesome that you got to hear your parent's tales of work and romance at Disney during the trip, I look forward to being able to sharing my time in the character department as I walk through Disneyland with my kids when they are older. Sorry you had a rough experience as a kid, but that Prime Time Cafe would have been a dream for me. I love themed restaurants where the staff are in character and play out scenes with you. Heck, I'd like to work at one!Disney Days: My Trips to Walt Disney WorldJun 19, 2018View

1596ArticlefuschniktThat's fantastic, letting him be a part of Santa for his brother. I absolutely love that. I've read that some people are actually worried about backlash along the lines of, "you lied to me and I hate you." But I find that fear to be silly. You got it right with him. We aren't lying, it's about creating something fun and special for our kids to enjoy. Well played, sir. 1990 - The Year Santa DiedDec 10, 2014View
