| Article | Vaporman87 | @Ben: That seems extremely goofy to me. We too have an "open house" type of event during and after the hour long Trick-or-Treat event held at our church. Trick-or-Treaters come and enjoy free chili, peanut butter sandwiches, and drinks. During the TorT, we hand out bags of goodies and prizes. It's nice to be able to go there and relax and eat warm chili after walking almost 2 miles throughout the neighborhood with the kids in tow. But we wouldn't be THAT picky about the costumes. Just no bloody/gory/scantily clad visitors in the Fellowship Hall (They can still have someone else bring them chili). | Oct 01, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Did anyone else attend a school that held a "Halloween" carnival/festival? I always looked forward to them in elementary school. | Benjanime's Halloween Retrospective | Oct 03, 2013

| Article | Vaporman87 | These school festivals usually involved cake walks, bobbing for apples, fishing for grab bags (with a gym pad standing upright and someone behind it tying the grab bag to the end of a "fishing rod" that the player tossed over the wall), a "ghost walk" or haunted house experience, and more games and food. | Benjanime's Halloween Retrospective | Oct 03, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Reading this reminded me that I did not add a scene from this special into the Halloween Special this year. Crud. Oh well, just one to make sure to add next year! :) I think it's hard for some of these other specials to get the play they deserve, because so many people expect to be shown The Great Pumpkin, or Merry Christmas Charlie Brown, etc. Perhaps we need a cable channel that plays nothing but holiday specials and tv episodes at certain times during the year. I'd go for that. Thanks OldSchool | Garfield's Halloween Adventure | Oct 04, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. I wonder how many parents were aghast at hearing what they THOUGHT they heard. I always thought that Garfield's voice was soooo appropriate for the character. Lorenzo Music did a great job with it. | Garfield's Halloween Adventure | Oct 04, 2013
| Video | Vaporman87 | I have it on good authority that "A Disney Halloween" may have a scene that makes an appearance in the Halloween Special this year. :) | A Disney Halloween promo | Oct 11, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Man... this is another of those articles that reminds me of how little I can remember of my own Halloween adventures. I wish my recollections of those many trick-or-treating outings were clearer to me. But, from this read, it seems that my own trick-or-treating nights were not much different than yours. So this felt like reading a bit about my own Halloweens. That's awesome. Thanks for this vkimo! | Halloween Memories | Oct 11, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Very, VERY rarely, I would end up receiving a dime or quarter. That was annoying. It was less obnoxious than receiving a bunch of pennies, but still essentially telling the trick-or-treater, "I was too lazy to go buy candy, so go buy some yourself." | Top 5 Best and Worst things to get in... | Oct 16, 2013
| Article | Vaporman87 | Yeesh, those sound just awful! If you can't give out Americanized candy, don't give it out at all. LOL | Top 5 Best and Worst things to get in... | Oct 17, 2013 |
