1636 | Article | MissM | I so remember the MK live tour. I never saw it but I had this Kollector's Edition magazine that featured images of the cast. It was so cool. This article was perfect at capturing that feel of the time. I remember so many debates in the cafeteria about the merits of Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat. Very cool images and a great article. | Dec 15, 2014
1651 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @MissM Thanks. Glad to know I'm not alone in remembering that this thing existed. Where did you get the magazine? Super Market? Toy Store? | Mortal Kombat Memories | Dec 15, 2014
1655 | Article | MissM | @Hoju Koolander I got it at a Book Stop or Walden books. It was in the magazine section. I have it somewhere, I will look for it and take a picture. It came out around the time of the release of MK 3. It had a break down of the characters, the creation of the game, the phenomenon of the game also with some details about the live tour. I must have read it over and over. One of the funny things is that under each character profile, the characters answer questions like favorite food, favorite book, and one of them was like, who do you get mistaken for and Sonya Blade says She-Ra. I always loved that. Such a fun series. I just wish they'd make nice female figures to the games. | Mortal Kombat Memories | Dec 16, 2014

1569 | Article | Vaporman87 | LOL. Who wouldn't want a subscription to Jellies for a bonus? I imagine if I decided to start giving that as a bonus every year, I would be a really popular guy... to think about killing. Great breakdown of Clark's... er, breakdowns. It's that Christmas you remember going so terribly, multiplied by 1,000. Which makes it a must watch every year. :) | 8 Meltdowns That Actually Guided Clark Griswold To His 'Christmas Vacation' | Dec 05, 2014
1572 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Loving your pen name. I once spent a lonely holiday season evening at a movie theater attending a special retro screening of Christmas Vacation. It was a 10pm show and I literally had the theater to myself. The staff kept coming in to see if there was anyone in the theater because they wanted to go home, but like Clark, I stood my ground in the name of Christmas...or I didn't have anything better to do. Take your pick. | 8 Meltdowns That Actually Guided Clark Griswold To His 'Christmas Vacation' | Dec 05, 2014
1573 | Article | Vaporman87 | LOL @ Hoju. I wonder it they considered cooking up some way to get you to leave, like faking a power outage or projector malfunction. | 8 Meltdowns That Actually Guided Clark Griswold To His 'Christmas Vacation' | Dec 06, 2014
1574 | Article | pikachulover | I always joke with my mom once she starts putting cat food in her jello it's time to stop. Which is even stranger since she doesn't have any pets. | 8 Meltdowns That Actually Guided Clark Griswold To His 'Christmas Vacation' | Dec 07, 2014
1576 | Article | OldSchool80s | A fun read (as usual) about a personal favorite. Glad to see you post over here! (My Christmas submission will hopefully be coming this week!) | 8 Meltdowns That Actually Guided Clark Griswold To His 'Christmas Vacation' | Dec 08, 2014 |
