223 | Article | raptor | That Vice Project Doom kinda looks like a cross between Streets of Rage and Strider or Contra. Pretty sweet. I enjoyed this one. | Jan 28, 2013
2959 | Article | jkatz | That was a good read. I spent the first 4 years of my life in an small neighborhood that was populated with almost nothing but older retirees. We were the only young family in the neighborhood and I swear to God that they prepped every year for it. Homemade cookies and such aplenty. Recently I went back to where I grew up and every one of those sweet grannies and overenthusiastic grandpas were dead except for one couple. | Halloween Sucks | Oct 15, 2015
3386 | Article | massreality | That was a great break down of your relationship with the series. I was in high school by 1998, so I missed out on the Pokemon bandwagon. I remember watching all the kids on the bus playing and trading cards, and I felt like I was missing out on something big. Back when Black/White came out on the DS, I bought a copy of Black just to see what all the fuss was about. I can't say that I fell totally in love with it, but I did enjoy the time I spent with the game. My girlfriend has taken over my 3DS XL once I introduced her to Animal Crossing, so I ordered myself a new one that should be here on Monday. I plan on buying Yellow from the Virtual Console, so I can truly dig in on the old school Pokemon. | 20 years of Pok'emon: Looking back to the franchise as an adult | Feb 27, 2016

3162 | Article | Vaporman87 | That was awesome. Great story, MarshMellow. Welcome to RD, by the way. This was a joy to read. Really well written and fun the whole way through. I can't imagine what that final "boom" must have been like. I think I would have stuck to eating Special Dark bars with my Squiggle Wiggle tattooed hands while playing the Nintendo from a previous year after that. | Expl-ho-ho-ho-sion | Dec 10, 2015

2082 | Article | Hoju Koolander | That was pretty great and your Dad in his underwear seems like something right out any 90s kids comedy. I wouldn't be surprised if there are forums and ancient chat rooms devoted to sightings of The Dinosaur Kid. He sounds like he could fit right in with Sasquatch or El Chupacabra. So was there a sequel to this story? Did you ever run across this mythic creature again? | The Dinosaur Kid | Mar 17, 2015
2160 | Article | Vaporman87 | That was something I was moderately good at... roller skating. I could even skate (in a very limited capacity) backwards. I remember, once, my sister couple skating with a guy who was really bad. When he fell down, he pulled her down with him and she broke her arm. | Rec Center Memories - Moment of Glory | Mar 26, 2015
