4280ArticleHoju KoolanderI feel like this year end celebration was also my "end of an era" event as far as watching Nickelodeon. I hung on as long as I could, but by this point I was in high school and Hey Arnold had nothing on Rugrats as far as I was concerned. I had outgrown my once favorite cable station. Although now I really want to play with some Gak! Funny how that works. Feb 13, 2018View
4281ArticleHoju KoolanderWow, questions I never considered. I am 100% sure Jessie and family lived in the attic though. Whenever they were exiting a scene to go to their room, I recall that they were always walking upstairs. Thanks for the tip on Danny's wife's name, now I feel like I can score extra points in a Full House trivia contest. On a side note, I just picked up a cassette album of Tommy Page, the pop star who sang to Stephanie on her birthday in one episode. It's got some pretty solid early 90s tunes on it.My Five Favorite Full House Plot HolesFeb 13, 2018View
4282ArticleHoju KoolanderWhen I saw the title of your article I immediately thought of the random "Mickey" car scene from Wayne's World. I have to admit that there are a lot of songs on your list where I never even noticed the hand claps and now I'll enjoy going back and listening for them.Top 80s Songs with Handclaps in themFeb 13, 2018View
4283ArticleHoju KoolanderPokemon has always been my cutoff point for retro kid crazes. It just didn't connect for me as a 14 year old. But I do remember about 3-4 years earlier a bunch of kids in my neighborhood getting me into collecting these shiny square Japanese sticker cards with little monsters on them. I can't remember the name, but I always wondered if they were the initial wave of Pokemon imported from Japan. Anybody know what I'm talking about?Pokemania! 4351ArticleHoju KoolanderWow, this was NLogan levels of information and pictures, but what a journey. The sadness over the demise of G.I. Joe to being one of the few in existence that loved the Virtual Boy with the help of Mr. Shock, very heartwarming. Glad to have you on the site now and look forward to more stories.RIP TOYS R US - I LOVE THE VIRTUAL BOYApr 11, 2018View
4352ArticleHoju KoolanderWow, just the kind of garbage I love and have been tracking down on Amazon Prime Video lately. But these are like Z-Grade cheese. I wanna know more about Diddy Bop and Killzone in Robowar. That one looks like a lot of fun.Mockbusters: 6 Retro Movie Ripoffs!Apr 11, 2018View
4377ArticleHoju Koolander@Vaporman87 They were especially dangerous since the whole reason Rogue wore a bodysuit was because skin to skin contact with her was lethal. Having her pose in a swimsuit was just irresponsible.Retro Magazine RoundUp: Sports Illustrated 1994May 08, 2018View
4378ArticleHoju Koolander@NLogan I'm pretty sure to this day my Dad has no idea how he contributed to my rudimentary cosplay. @Vaporman87 Well, I did hold a press conference to reveal the truth of my identity, but then I made a deal with the Devil and erased 40 years of history, so you've all forgotten about it. Also, I've been recast several times so it's hard to know who the Spider-Man is these days.My 90s BedroomMay 08, 2018View
4381ArticleHoju Koolander@jkatz Good eye, there!. Yep, it was a metal Luger cap gun. I got it when I moved into my brother's old room along with another awesome toy I mentioned in this article http://retro-daze.org/site/article/id/9084My 90s BedroomMay 08, 2018View
4385ArticleHoju Koolander@pikachulover Nope, never saw a Lakers or Clippers game as a kid. Though Shaq did have action figures made by Kenner, so you would think he could have gotten my allegiance that way. His best bet would have been to make a cartoon show like ProStars.Retro Magazine RoundUp: Sports Illustrated 1994May 09, 2018View
