2953 | Article | Vaporman87 | Epic. lol. Just epic, this. On the down side, it's pretty easy to see why Halloween sucked for you. I mean... pooping your pants... that pretty much seals the deal. But there are just so many reasons here for you to despise Halloween, yet you seem to have made peace with it. Perhaps as time goes on, and you have kids of your own, then Halloween will become what it should have always been for you... a joy. | Oct 15, 2015
5209 | Article | Vaporman87 | Epic tale of childhood brazenness as only vkimo could tell it. Who knew that a boy scout like vkimo, with his flag shorts and leather fascination, could be so mischievous? I was never inclined or brave enough to skip school for any period of time, though I did spend a few afternoons here and there "skipping" recess. LOL. A group of friends and I called ourselves C.Y.G.A. (Citizens and Young Guardian Avengers)... don't ask. Our mission in the later years of elementary school? To NOT go outside and play when everyone else did for recess. Yeah. We would stay behind and wander the halls of the elementary school trying not to get caught by the teachers and staff. 2532 | Article | Hoju Koolander | Epic and great narrative structure. Video game bullies were something I encountered as well, growing up. They always approach you as if you did something to offend them, when all you were doing was playing a game alone. In my case, the guy brought 5 of his buddies back to intimidate me and I got out of that skating rink in a hurry. I wish the magic of Street Fighter II could have melted my bully's heart as well. | A Flurry of Hadoukens and Shoryukens | Aug 16, 2015

2097 | Article | OldSchool80s | Enjoyed the list. I like considering a non-traditional Dad like Charles in Charge, but I don't think he or Mr. Arnold would make my top 5. I agree that I would add Mr. Drummond from Diff'rent Strokes. I think you have to consider Jason Seaver from Growing Pains and Tony from Who's the Boss. I would consider Edward Stratton from Silver Spoons as well as the two guys from My Two Dads. How about Mr. Cunningham from Happy Days and Dan Connor from Roseanne? It's hard to leave any of those off of the list. | Top 5 TV Dads of the 80's | Mar 19, 2015
2485 | Article | OldSchool80s | Enjoyed reading this. Nice work! Have some awesome 80s memories of going to the arcade and Showbiz Pizza. I also remember the tabletop Ms. Pac-Man at Pizza Hut, but never realized that was a universal thing. | The Mall Arcade | Aug 07, 2015
