1097ArticleVaporman87Great article! I would think that to have your birthday in the depths of Summer must be a grand occasion. You can have your choice of locale (inside or outside... if it's not TOO hot), the days are long, and nobody is suffering seasonal depression. Although I did not feel like The Lost World was a terrible sequel, I wasn't blown away by it either. However, it is very easy to understand why films take on a whole new level of importance and status in the days of our youth. I'm sure there are many films from the 80's that most people would deem "awful" but were so fantastic to me, and likely still are, simply because they affected me in my youth. And you can't fault anyone for that. Thanks kstrom! May 23, 2014View
2040ArticleDerkGreat article, Vkimo! I definitely miss the glory days of the RetroJunk forum. It was certainly a lot of fun until horrible posters and the bugs showed up. There were some 'special' moments on that forum. I'm sure others who were there for a decent amount of time remember the 'death' of Pixies... Good times.Remembering RetroJunkFeb 22, 2015View

2114Articleechidna64Great article, I sense a racing theme! Dude that training level in Driver is ridiculously hard! My friend and I took turns and spent an entire night trying to complete it. It's amazing how the tutorial can be harder than the actual game, gotta love the 90's!My Favorite PC Games of the 90'sMar 20, 2015View
4396ArticleWhiteDragonAuraGreat article, brings back a lot of memories. I remember always choosing Charmy Bee as my main since the ring mechanic was a little easier to control with his dash ability. :)Video game oddities #1 - Knuckles ChaotixMay 28, 2018View

1125Articleechidna64Great article vkimo! I love your graphical prowess, especially the title card. My favorite part was your experiences camping, it brought back a lot of childhood memories. We used to go to a campground called Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park. And I loved the "your girlfriend's shorts" line too! lol Thanks for the trip back in time! In The Summer TimeJun 06, 2014View
2966Articleechidna64Great article vkimo! I love the old-school dialogue and all the throwbacks to retro pop culture. The Darth Vader costume reminded me of the scene from Revenge of the Nerds Fright Night - A Retro NarrativeOct 16, 2015View
998ArticleVaporman87Great article pikachulover! I think this resonates with me because I was similarly inspired by He-Man and the MOTU. I would decorate my various school supplies with stickers, carry around the magazine for reference when drawing, and use the coloring books to trace, then copy to a new page without tracing. This is how I developed the ability to keep the drawings anatomically correct. Certain muscles overlap others, and some are larger in proportion to others... things like that. I never took an anatomy class in order to know how to properly draw the human musculature. He-Man helped make me capable of the art that I can do today. :)Some of my First Sailor Moon Merchandise (bootlegs)Feb 14, 2014View
