1021VideoCaps 2.0I chose it because the movie was set in the 80s...A fact that would've been included if the text used my original description.Donnie DarkoMar 01, 2014View
1181VideoCaps 2.0The animated "101 Dalmatians" did get a sequel in the 00s called "101 Dalmatians 2: Patch's London Adventure". I didn't see it, but the direct-to-video sequels aren't really known for quality.101 Dalmatians Original TeaserAug 18, 2014View
1270VideoCaps 2.0Actually, if I'm being perfectly honest in my opinions, I think the third "Toy Story" was the best out of all of them. I think it was Pixar's crowning achievement of the "Toy Story" series, taking all the things that made the first two enjoyable, and improving them. I also liked "Toy Story Of Terror" last year, and I am looking forward to "Toy Story That Time Forgot" this year.Toy Story 2Sep 18, 2014View
1440VideoCaps 2.0One of my very first interview subjects. I originally interviewed her for a website called oldschool4life, which I posted to for a while after bullies I dealt with on another message board tracked me to RetroJunk and harassed me on my 80s fandom article "Don't Call Me A Poser". The site didn't last too long, but I kept the text and pictures backed up, and I posted it to RetroJunk when I returned in mid-2007. A few months later, I actually spoke on the phone with Stacey. She was very sweet to speak, too. It was only a one-time thing, but a few years later, I got her autograph through her manager, who I'm friends with on Facebook. Stacey is very sweet and was wonderful to speak to.Stacey Q - Two of HeartsOct 15, 2014View

1809VideoCaps 2.0I'm sorry about the slightly out-of-synch videos. It's strange...When I first rippred them from the DVDs, the audio and video were in-synch, but once I used my editing program and converted them to FLV files, the audio went askew. I hope this isn't a regular thing in the future, but I don't know a way to ensure that the video will be in-synch.Running ScaredJan 17, 2015View
1866VideoCaps 2.0Sorry for another audio mishap...Once again, something went awry in the encoding. Are there any other encoders out there besides RIVA?Beverly Hills Cop IIIJan 31, 2015View
1869VideoCaps 2.0With the other videos that have had audio mishaps, the sound was off by just 2 seconds or so. With this, it started up on the MPAA screen. I don't know if it's Pinnacle (my video editing program) or RIVA (the encoder I use once I edit the videos).Beverly Hills Cop IIIJan 31, 2015View
1917ArticleCaps 2.0A wonderful article, vkimo, but then again, you've never written a bad one. I still have authority on RetroJunk as a message board administrator and content editor, but I don't really post on the message boards anymore. I still submit videos and movie pages, but I stopped writing for RJ in 2013. My last few articles barely got any response, positive or negative. It hurt, especially with the interview I did with Jewel Shepard. It was an interview I was very proud of, but hardly anybody read it. I'm now writing on Pop Geeks, where I've continued my retro articles and celebrity interviews. Pop Geeks was created by a friend of mine from my early days on the Internet who I reconnected with on Facebook several years ago. She initially invited me to look at the site as a viewer, but when I told her I was looking for a new place to write, she said she'd consider it. I wrote an audition piece for the site and she accepted it. That piece became my first article "10 Comedy Albums To Fall Asleep To". It was followed shortly thereafter by my first interview for Pop Geeks, which was with Catherine Mary Stewart. It was a return to e-mail interviewing for that, but that's what she preferred. I resumed the phone interviews the following month by speaking to Jamie Rose. I've subsequently interviewed Ginger Lynn, Ellen Foley, Michelle Johnson, Lita Ford, Teresa Ganzel, J.J Cohen and Lesley Ann Warren, with several more interviews potentially in the works. They've gotten a lot of Facebook likes...I doubt they would've gotten any response on RetroJunk. This was a wonderful piece of history, vkimo, and I'm glad it's doing so well.Remembering RetroJunkFeb 09, 2015View
