820 | Article | Mr Magic | Well, this Garfield special is one I wish I had seen. Boy, have I been missing out. See Fat Albert's Halloween special. It's a good one. | Oct 04, 2013
821 | Article | OldSchool80s | Thanks all for reading. Love the Fat Albert Halloween special, but that one first came out in 1977 and I try to stay in the 80s (though I still remember watching it in the 80s, so that counts!) | Garfield's Halloween Adventure | Oct 04, 2013

825 | Article | Vaporman87 | Man... this is another of those articles that reminds me of how little I can remember of my own Halloween adventures. I wish my recollections of those many trick-or-treating outings were clearer to me. But, from this read, it seems that my own trick-or-treating nights were not much different than yours. So this felt like reading a bit about my own Halloweens. That's awesome. Thanks for this vkimo! | Halloween Memories | Oct 11, 2013
826 | Article | vkimo | I actually only went out and trick or treated a few years so that's why I can remember pretty well what happened. Although I see high schoolers now who trick or treat haha | Halloween Memories | Oct 12, 2013
828 | Article | Mr Magic | Good Halloween story from the past. Thanks for sharing, vkimo. | Halloween Memories | Oct 13, 2013
75 | Video | Vaporman87 | A beautiful song, sung by a wonderful singer, for a great film. | Watership Down - Bright Eyes | Dec 18, 2012
829 | Article | Vaporman87 | Where to start? :) I have to agree that candy bars were where it was at when it came to candy. I started there, and worked my way down. Probably the candy bar I got the most in a full size version was Kit Kat, possibly because of it's smallish length compared to, say Snickers or 3 Musketeers. I also enjoyed the occasional toy in my bucket, but it was a rarity - even in party favor form. I would have considered myself lucky to have received a parachute guy or bag of army men. For a time, I think I received as many Blow Pops as I did Tootsie Pops. But that didn't last forever. The candy substitute I received the most of were rice or popcorn balls. This was "alright" I suppose, but they were the last to get opened. Regarding Candy Cigarettes, they weren't the tastiest of treats, but they were alright for those days after you've cleaned out the chocolate good stuff. I was lucky enough to be a trick-or-treater before the onslaught of sugar free crap. So thankfully, this was not much of an issue. But anyone who hands out toothbrushes to trick-or-treaters deserves to have their house bathed in toilet paper. Unless, of course, they ALSO handed you a candy along with it. :) Great read TDITH! 830 | Article | vkimo | haha fun read. I hated getting those candies that have been around for years. Especially the super hard stuff like Sugar Daddy and Tootsie Rolls. | Top 5 Best and Worst things to get in... | Oct 15, 2013
831 | Article | OldSchool80s | Fun read. I would add to the worst list "a handful of pennies". I remember getting some of those and was never too pleased. I think I would rather get the McDonald's coupon book. Favorite is probably still Smarties or Sweet Tarts in the little roll with the plastic twisted on each end.
