5767 | Article | Benjanime | Honestly I miss the older humor compared to what we get now, being mostly cookie cutter strips for a single punchline at the end that rarely even gets a chuckle out of me anymore | Oct 06, 2023

3562 | Article | mickyarber | Holy crap man. Your article last year struck a nerve with me, and now you bust out this Christmas classic. I know it may have been years ago, but I'm sitting here today feeling so sorry for your bother. This is a really good tale, and the pictures you chose are spot on. Nice work. As a side note, I remember a radio station running a contest back in '99 for a new Toyota. They had all kinds of entries, but it turned out all they were giving away was a "toy Yoda" as a tie in to the new Star Wars movie. There were a lot of angry people who claimed false advertising. It wasn't pretty. | Christmas Conundrum | Dec 12, 2016
2417 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy cow! Two "adventure" articles in one week? You can't beat that. This is a great story. It reminds me of those days when you just knew treasure was hidden somewhere around you, waiting to be found. Why it would be there, who would have put it there... didn't matter. It was there, and you were going to find it somehow. Making it even better though, is the fact that there was this relic of a by-gone era that you found. That really adds to the excitement of it. I love the reference to Homeward Bound and that you felt you needed a machete for the trip. LOL Thanks for sharing this kstrom. | Digging for Treasure | Jul 23, 2015
5162 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy cow! I’m like you... I just figured they were out there still. But since I also never purchased any, I was out of the loop. | Certs | Apr 01, 2020

4505 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy Cow! Can you imagine how much such a magazine would cost nowadays, with every item having to be illustrated and colored? Ridiculous! I wonder how often they had to make returns because the customer felt that the artistic rendering of the item constituted false advertising or poorly represented? Also, which film featured Darth Vader's brother, Darth Vadar? | Super Hero Toy Catalog 1978 | Aug 06, 2018
1603 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy cow! Apparently Spinjas are more popular now than 1990! | 1990 - The Year Santa Died | Dec 11, 2014
111 | Article | Vaporman87 | Holy cow, I couldn't agree more. Now I actually purchased BOTH versions of MK; the SNES and Genesis versions. My personal thoughts were that, while the Genesis version stayed closer to the arcade in terms violent content, the SNES version had superior graphics and controls. But, that's just me. Oh, and Night Trap looks like it's going for anywhere from $150 to $400 still sealed. Yikes. | Joe Lieberman VS Scorpion | Dec 31, 2012 |
