3783ArticleHoju KoolanderAs someone who stopped taking after the Super Nintendo, this series has been a great look at how Nintendo fared with their later systems. I just got the Marvel Disney Infinity game for my kids on the PS3, which I think is like Skylanders and it is really pretty fun. Especially for a guy who was always more into action figures than video games. Mar 16, 2017View
3739ArticleVaporman87A very nice list of some interesting facts and statistics involving the Royal Rumble. Thanks for compiling and presenting these Mick. Good stuff. Now if poor Kane could just win one.Looking Back at 29 Years of the Royal RumbleFeb 12, 2017View
3744ArticleOldSchool80sSurprised they didn't let Kane keep his streak going this year even though he is not a regular anymore.Looking Back at 29 Years of the Royal RumbleFeb 12, 2017View
3747ArticleMr MagicI thought The Big Show was the largest competitor. He was always called "the world's largest athlete" As tall as The Great Khali was, it's a tragedy he never won the Rumble.Looking Back at 29 Years of the Royal RumbleFeb 12, 2017View
3748ArticleRick Ace RhodesCool article Mickey. I guess we can now officially add Randy "The Viper" Orton to the list of multiple time winners.Looking Back at 29 Years of the Royal RumbleFeb 12, 2017View
3740ArticleVaporman87I have to agree. There are very few things that are so jam-packed with nostalgic awesomeness than old catalogs. Just one page has such a wealth of old toy goodness that it takes one article to contain it. I want all of those Joes and there accessories right now!Catalog Pages: 1982 Sears Wish Book Featuring G.I. JoeFeb 12, 2017View
3760ArticleHoju KoolanderI didn't get into GI Joe until the Serpentor era, but I remember being blown away by how basic and slim these original figures were when I found them in my neighbor buddy's older brother's collection. I thought they were knock off bootlegs or something. But given the awesome layouts in store catalogs I probably would have bought them anyway.Catalog Pages: 1982 Sears Wish Book Featuring G.I. 3947ArticleVaporman87Trading cards... NOOOO! These ads came out at a time when my dad was ridiculously obsessed with sports cards. He was buying crazy amounts of them and hoarding them. He would watch late night shopping network shows, buying up the cards. It was a crazy time. So many great "time capsule" ads here. Comics were, and hopefully will always be, a great place to find reflections of our culture in the advertisements.Retro Comic Book AdsJun 21, 2017View
3968ArticleOldSchool80sLove seeing old comic book ads. They take me right back to that time in an instant. These 90s ads are a little later than I really connect with, but still was reading a few titles at that point and they still connect a little. I have to go get some 80s comics and post some of those ads! Thanks for sharing!Retro Comic Book AdsJun 22, 2017View
