1828ArticleVaporman87Never did I think I would come to know so much about Bayou Billy. And yet, here I sit, well educated on the man at long last, LOL. I would say there is not doubt about the influences that lead to the character. You've laid that out pretty clearly. Funny that with so much attention to the character in the cartoon series, and his own comic book mini series of sorts, that more wasn't done to push him further into our collective consciousness. Perhaps the marketing bigwigs finally came to the conclusion that "It just wasn't working", and pulled the plug on old Billy. I suppose we'll never know. 1827ArticleVaporman87The Toonami intro in which Tom speaks always caught my attention. Then, later on, I came to recognize the voice actor as that of Wolverine in many X-Men cartoons. In fact, I think he still does a lot of Wolverine voice work.TDitH's Top 5 Segment Intros of the 90sJan 24, 2015View
1825Articlevkimo@Hoju - Sadly no Barry Bonds :( But I did have that hockey puck for a number of years before losing it.Aladdin's Castle B-Day Jan 23, 2015View
1824ArticleVaporman87That would have been awesome to just have a roll of tokens handed to you. Total bliss. I had an arcade type of birthday once. It took place at Showbiz Pizza in Parkersburg, WV. (no longer there, naturally). We had a grand time playing games, watching the Rock-A-Fire Explosion perform, and eating pizza. Those were good days.Aladdin's Castle B-Day Jan 23, 2015View
1823ArticleVaporman87I recall very little about my kindergarten days. I can picture the room, it's layout, and being outside to eat lunch. But much of anything else is muddled. I do know that I ran into a fellow who was a classmate of mine for many years, including kindergarten, at the fair this past year, and we spoke a couple times for quite a while. My memory of him in kindergarten was that he was the kid with the metal brace on his leg (or legs??? Can't recall now). He wore those braces for quite a while. He seems to walk perfectly normal, so they must have done their job.My First Day of KindergartenJan 23, 2015View
1822ArticlepikachuloverYou're lucky you had nice time. Mine was traumatizing. The strange thing was there were a lot of kids in my class who failed kindergarten and were there for another year so they knew what to do. I was just a rookie. My First Day of KindergartenJan 23, 2015View

1820ArticleHoju KoolanderOh the joys of the video arcade birthday and a whole roll of tokens! I bet you did your best to stay in that kid's good graces until the next birthday rolled around. Congrats on the Mortal Kombat victory, however short lived. That's a feat I never managed to accomplish in any fighting game. Did you ever get that Barry Bonds card for your collection, through a trade or something?Aladdin's Castle B-Day Jan 23, 2015View
1819VideoVaporman87I thought he seemed awfully familiar. That TV movie was a favorite of mine. Though the Thor story and design was just terrible. HunkJan 21, 2015View
