2198 | Article | Retro King of the Land | I had that same radio! I used to tape "radio broadcast' late into the night with that. | My Christmas 1982 | Apr 04, 2015
1927 | Article | Vaporman87 | I had such a warped view of myself and them. I recall how I used to draw myself in my comics in comparison to them. I was this handsome, square-jawed hero type, and they were C level chubby sidekick types. So not near reality. Later in life, I began to draw myself in caricature style and I was far more accurate. Basically, I was the human version of a turtle. I even made a spin-off character named Turtle Boy. | Being The Fat Kid | Feb 09, 2015

3457 | Article | pikachulover | I had some neighbors who would try to prank call me. I remember once they told me they had "Kimberly from the Power Rangers" on the phone. She didn't sound like Kimberly. She sounded like somebody with a cold. Then they said it was just my neighbor's friend who I didn't know named Kimberly who owned cheap inline skates. Which my neighbor just threw in there into the conversation. | Old School Phones: Mystery Callers | Mar 16, 2016
2220 | Article | Vaporman87 | I had several shirts and hats I treasured. No pants though. LOL. One shirt I really loved was my Subway "Put A Foot In Your Mouth" shirt. It was just a plain white t-shirt with the Subway logo and the phrase I just mentioned emblazoned across the chest in red. I wore that shirt for decades (seriously, decades). Also, there was a Batman shirt that was black and had the Dark Knight standing in the shadows wearing his classic blue and grey garb. Finally, there was my Spuds McKenzie shirt in all it's bright pastel on white glory. I have a photo of me in that shirt from many years ago. It only recently was discarded, after the armpits became a crusty mass and it could no longer be comfortably worn. LOL | Treasured Clothing | Apr 18, 2015
21 | Video | Vaporman87 | I had several of the M.A.S.K. toys in my youth. Sometimes I would have them intermingle with other toy lines to mix things up. | M.A.S.K. Intro | Dec 09, 2012
1873 | Article | pikachulover | I had Sesame Street set. I didn't know what they were I thought they were stamps. So I licked them. I got them when I was 3. My parents had to explain to me how to use them. I had a Show White and a dress up Minnie N Me set. I also had a few Presto Magix sets of Beauty and the Beast and Strawberry Shortcake. I have a Lisa Frank set, but I'm not sure who made it. I liked to use colorforms and window clings to stick on the sliding glass door wen I lived at a house that had one. I had Barbie and Mickey Mouse rub-on transfers and some bootleg Sailor Moon ones. | Colorforms, Shrinky Dinks, and Monster Makers | Feb 01, 2015
1893 | Article | Vaporman87 | I had reached that point in my life where sports became important to me (namely basketball and hockey) so I was watching that, or Unsolved Mysteries, and some of the sitcoms like Cheers, Night Court, etc. | Simpsons Illustrated and 90's Magazine Ads | Feb 06, 2015 |
