989ArticleMissMI have many fond memories of sharing valentines with classmates. (Which will totally be getting a write up before V-Day. lol) It really was a fun time and there were so many themed valentine cards! I was a magnet for anything scented though. I was obsessed. 2530ArticleHoju KoolanderI have loved your whole series of childhood stories from Brooklyn. So relatable, yet the East Coast setting makes it feel more exotic. Cool older kids who were bored with their possessions were a great source for not only video games, but action figures, comics and more. Though when it came to Nintendo, I definitely did more playing at friends houses than trading, since my own collection was pretty sparse.A Summer QuestAug 16, 2015View

2571ArticleVaporman87I have extremely fond memories of being in our local skating rink. I've mentioned this in the forum and on one of massreality's articles; that I grew up in a small addition of homes and at the bottom of the hill sat our skating rink. So I walked up and down our hill almost every weekend to hang out at the rink. I still know who were expert skaters, I still hear the music playing and the sound of the arcade games (Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man being the most played ones). I can smell the hotdogs and old, worn carpeting on the benches. I can easily remember the tiny bathroom, and games we'd play (corner skate, limbo, the hokey pokey, etc.). I miss it a great deal.Roller Rinks! 80's Style!Aug 27, 2015View
1426ArticleNLoganI have copies of hulk 162, 180, 181, and 182. I like the Wendigo. I think it comes from an Algonquin legend. The kids version is in book 1 of scary stories. An interesting take on the legend. The Roosevelt version shares more similarities with the marvel version as victims are fed on. Marvel is reasonably close to the original legends in that anyone who commits cannibalism in the north woods becomes a wendigo.Scary Stories from the SchoolyardOct 13, 2014View
