1642 | Article | NLogan | My brother and I walked four miles to a Shopko to see the new Batman figures and Batcave. To me as a 12 year old kid it seemed like an epic journey. Not sure why we didn't ride our bikes. | Dec 15, 2014
5012 | Article | echidna64 | My brother bought a Sega Nomad a couple years ago and it is awesome because you can play regular Genesis games. It is a brick tho lol | Remembering the Sega Game Gear | Aug 16, 2019
4794 | Article | Ravenloft | My brother forgot to mention what we did while we were grieviously injured from the car tow dumb idea: sprained ankle for my brother, broken collarbone for my friend, and complete coverage severely bleeding road rash on my back, we sat on the floor to avoid blood on the couch and played nintendo while waiting for his mom to get home to take us to the hospital. Our mom didn't get off work for several more hours. We didn't call anybody, first of all cell phones were unknown to us then in those days and car phones were only for rich people and calling your parents at work was never done by kids voluntarily anyways unless mandatory such as when you got home from school. We could have knocked on a neighbors door to find a responsible adult or even called 911, but nope it never even entered our minds to seek help. We just play NES and waited while I ruined a blood soaked towel from my friends closet and we silently (except for the occasional groan or sniffle) played video games. | Skate or Die Generation | Jan 14, 2019

4576 | Article | Vaporman87 | My clear favorite was the Skeletor kit. I loved wearing that skull mask, and the swords were really good representations of the figure sized ones. The super short Havoc Staff was dorky though. | 80's Toy Dress-Up Kits | Sep 29, 2018
4360 | Article | Superman | My cousin was the picky eater in my family. I was always a bit more adventurous in what I ate. Strangely, I loved those school pizzas but wouldn't touch the pizza my grandmother once ordered with green peppers and mushrooms as toppings. I was used to sausage or pepperoni at the time. Veggies on a pizza just seemed weird to me. | Tales of a Picky Eater | Apr 18, 2018
4466 | Article | NLogan | My dad also was a master of the profanity fusilade raining bombs on our young ears. We broke down in Yellowstone once. My brother and I also hung around the auto mechanic shop all day while the mechanic drove my dad into Montana to get parts. We discovered an awesome ice cream shop that has since become tradition every time we go. | Theme Parks: Adventures in New England | Jun 18, 2018 |
