1033ArticleMissMSuch a fun article! I loved Dr. Pepper gum! It was so good. I am just having a blast looking at all these older foods. Really wonderful pictures and a very fun article. And Vaporman, you are so lucky to have McPizza near you! I feel like that was all a myth! lol  Mar 06, 2014View
1038ArticleMissMpikachulover- I am so glad you collected these too! I found a loose ballerina that was from my earlier collection this past summer and it was so much fun to find it. I feel like originally I had a large set and a smaller set, because I know there was a random assortment of the rock ones, a gym one, and the ballerina. The sets from those pictures were found so cheap too! I love these. I also love that you brought one to art class for an assignment. How cool is that?! Vaporman- I agree. I think these were probably the most successful immovable tiny figures since the green army men. it was nice to see a line aimed at girls too, with so many different facets. Like you mentioned I think the blind bag craze and even those s.l.u.g. zombie things were brought on by a much needed return to items of that variety. Revisiting C.U.T.I.E.Mar 13, 2014View
1045ArticleMissMBenjanime- Wow! That's an amazing memory! I think I would have flipped out if I saw a limo pull up to my school with pizza. lol That is really cool. Thank you for the comment. Vaporman- I know! This game totally makes me hungry, I'm glad I am not the only one. I'm ok at driving to places if I am alone, but if there is someone else in the car I totally get sidetracked. lol And the switch up feature really made things crazy with this game. Hope all is well. 1052ArticleMissMechidna64, yes! Reboot was so good! I wish it'd come back. I really enjoyed that show so much. Vaporman, oh yeah, there are some interesting remakes coming out eventually that should either be really awesome or really bad. I'm hoping for really awesome. lol And I always forget about M.A.S.K. That was a fun show. I vaguely recall Starriors. I will need to look that up. Movie This!Apr 04, 2014View
1065ArticleMissMVaproman- I am super excited too. I like the idea of the original cast coming back for the sequel. I think I'd be groaning if it was a straight reboot, but a sequel with the original cast is something I'd really get into. echidna- That is so cool, I'm sorry that it didn't come together. That sounds like it would have been a very cool article. Benjamine- I think the reason I am looking forward to it is because the original director is behind it. If it were someone else that had nothing to do with the original I would be very nervous. The Goonies 'R' Good EnoughApr 16, 2014View
1066ArticleMissMOh Benjanime, the Dunkin Donuts cereal was everything. It tasted so good. There was a lot of good food in the 80's. I remember my brother liking the Oreo O's cereal in the late 90's, but I wasn't interested in breakfast at that time. I bet they were really good though. And Vaporman, every time I do find myself drinking Tab, I feel my insides die just a little. lol It is like soda made with Sweet 'n Low. I know all about Diet Rite though, that stuff was pretty bad, though I love your description. lol Broken down zombie. lol A Logo of LoveApr 16, 2014View
1636ArticleMissMI so remember the MK live tour. I never saw it but I had this Kollector's Edition magazine that featured images of the cast. It was so cool. This article was perfect at capturing that feel of the time. I remember so many debates in the cafeteria about the merits of Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat. Very cool images and a great article. 1655ArticleMissM@Hoju Koolander I got it at a Book Stop or Walden books. It was in the magazine section. I have it somewhere, I will look for it and take a picture. It came out around the time of the release of MK 3. It had a break down of the characters, the creation of the game, the phenomenon of the game also with some details about the live tour. I must have read it over and over. One of the funny things is that under each character profile, the characters answer questions like favorite food, favorite book, and one of them was like, who do you get mistaken for and Sonya Blade says She-Ra. I always loved that. Such a fun series. I just wish they'd make nice female figures to the games. Mortal Kombat MemoriesDec 16, 2014View
1686ArticleMissM@vaporman, thank you. Now that this is my first Christmas divorced, I have been thinking a lot about past Christmases and this was something that just came to my mind. I think my cousins and I started out so close because our parents were all close. But as we got older we all sort of drifted apart and that was really hard. But I am a huge proponent of family no matter if it is large or small, so Christmas always brings that out the most. I am really glad you have your family and friends Vaporman, that is awesome! I hope you have a fantastic Christmas. @HojuKoolander, Nintendo really does bind generations! We would get my grandmother to play Duck Hunt. She wouldn't play anything else, but for some reason she loved that game. I just remember thinking that was the craziest thing ever. I didn't have a lot of Snes games either, but the ones I did own were very memorable. Now I feel like playing some Starfox. I forgot how fun that game was. I hope you have a nice Christmas! How Mario Saved Christmas... and Other Super Nintendo TalesDec 18, 2014View
1747ArticleMissMThese are amazing! I wish I still had my Disney Adventures magazine! Oh my goodness those were the best. I also love that Alien 3 ad. I loved that game and while it wasn't my favorite, I remember that whole marketing time for that movie with the game. Never read the Superman and Batman magazines, but I was more of a Marvel girl at that time. Great and fun article!Kids Magazines of the 90sJan 01, 2015View
