5265ArticleoniparMr. Magic, ah that's too bad. It was a little different than your standard slime...almost like the lovechild of slime and silly putty. Vaporman, the slime pit! I still love the gross out toys and games. I have a couple Dr Dreadful sets and creepy crawlers setups in my closet right now. Sep 04, 2020View

1408ArticleVaporman87Much as it does suck for it to become official, the truth that we all never really accepted was that Saturday Morning Cartoons died a long time ago. And by that, I mean they died when the 3 (and then 4) major networks got out of the SMC business. Smaller networks like CW may have carried the torch on for a bit longer, but not everyone gets a CW channel, and even if they do, fewer actually watch it. No my friend, Saturday Morning Cartoon had one foot in the grave for a long time. It's just really hard to accept the whole truth of it when it becomes official. Apparently we nostalgia nerds aren't the only ones who felt that way either, as I noticed a plethora of articles on the subject that headlined the largest sites on the net, including Yahoo!. They will be missed.R.I.P. Saturday Morning CartoonsOct 09, 2014View
1089Articleechidna64Much like Vaporman, this has been the definitive Hobbit movie for me as well. I greatly prefer their version of Gollum, Bilbo, Gandalf, Smaug, Elrond, etc. essentially the whole lot. And yes, the music is a big part of the film and it sets the mood throughout (which is usually tense). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPkqjc23yqs The animation is gorgeous, my only gripe is the kaleidoscope effect they use to show death (you know it when you see it) and the battle of the five armies is lazily dots and scribbles fighting each other. Other than that the Hobbit is awesome! No other medium has captured the tone and narrative structure so perfectly. This is the version that I will be showing my kids. 1595ArticleNLoganMy 9 year old is in the know about Santa this year. He wanted a really expensive gift that I can't afford right now. I didn't want him to be disappointed so I told him it probably wasn't going to happen. He immediately replies with,"No problem dad, I got it covered. I'll just ask Santa." My heart dropped into my stomach. I debated using the old, "You're lucky to have gotten anything at all with how you've been all year" that was used on me as a kid, but he is pretty good and not a trouble maker at all. I clued him in about why we give gifts and that Santa was a way for parents to give a little extra joy to their kids. I started out by telling him that Santa lives in our hearts not the north pole. I think he took it well. He then proceeded with the Xbox on down, "Was that you then yhat gave me that?" I told him I am waking him up and he has to help with the Santa duties and wrap his brother's gifts. He is excited to be in the secret club and get his share of Santa's milk and cookies.1990 - The Year Santa DiedDec 10, 2014View
374VideoMr MagicMy advice to guys who are new at this game is not to use Lisa as your starting character. Her jump-rope might be useful, but if you let her get tangled up in it, she's gonna be a target for the bad guys. The Simpsons Arcade GameFeb 19, 2013View
