2510Articlemunkysrench@Vaporman87, I'll admit, getting through The Killing Joke was pretty tough the first time for me, being how graphic it was. But I think that's what stands out about Batman compared to other comic book characters is that raw unedited storyline. @Ben, I actually was going to make this one a lot longer, but thought with the synopsis that it was long enough. I knew I should've written more! lol Aug 13, 2015View

2574ArticlemunkysrenchI was definitely impressed with the Dark Knight series with Bale as Wayne. Especially when they brought Bane in the last one and summarized the Knightfall comic series. It pissed me of when a lot of non-readers bashed it hard without even knowing the story line in the comics, when I thought it was done very well. Another series I'd suggest is the Batman The Cereal Box in the ClosetAug 28, 2015View

3414Articlemunkysrench"I was neglected by my older siblings" --- I resent that! Lol. I do remember when it was out for a while and you had started collecting/trading cards that first year. I wasn't sure if you were actually playing the card game, or just collecting them just to have them. Actually, I still don't know. I know we didn't bond much as kids, with what different likes we had, but I still loved you bud. I'm glad you lived with me for those 5 years, because we had bonded so much. Another great read, allowing me to stroll down another one of many memories in our home.20 years of Pok'emon: Looking back to the franchise as an adultMar 04, 2016View

845ArticleMissMThank you Vaporman87! I was thinking of a nice way to write a first post, and I thought, "what would it be like if I had a toy talk show?" lol I do think Flutterina went through some makeover stuff, because the new one does look a little different, but you are right, it is enough to make her feel like Flutterina. And I so know what you mean, this new NA Skeletor is a vast improvement! Just beyond vast! Retro-Daze Presents: Toy Talk with Miss M!Nov 06, 2013View

848ArticleMissMI didn't even know they made sugar free Jolly Rancher candy. That just seems so wrong! I really liked your list. And yeah, as a kid, a coupon book would be awful. But at my age now I'd probably want that one the most out of everything else. lol Top 5 Best and Worst things to get in...Nov 07, 2013View
851ArticleMissMYeah, a cartoon would have possibly helped Golden Girl. (I even think there may have been an attempt, but I don't know if anything was ever officially produced.) I remember as a kid looking at this line and only thinking, "Gee, what's with the pretend She-Ra line?" She-Ra was fortunate to be a spin off of He-Man, it stretched that whole fantasy universe out that much longer. Golden Girl did have some male characters, but they weren't a part of any commercial that I have ever found. Both lines existed in such a strange time for toy collecting though!
