1916 | Article | Benjanime | I honestly miss the golden days of the site, that is though in all obviousness that I could have done without Debrisstorm's constant scoffing at the autism spectrum. Articles were actually worth reading, even if one or two misspellings were spotted (First we had the your/you're problem and now people are saying suppose instead of supposed). Nowadays it's a treasure to find someone post an article on a subject that hasn't been done to death, so I usually sniff around both RJ and RD article archives to keep a good eye to make sure I don't immediately take an article idea from someone else when I'm not aware that more of the same exist. Anyway for those of you wondering I apologize greatly for the odd hiatuses in not writing articles. I have more to come! I promise! | Feb 09, 2015
5533 | Article | Benjanime | i honestly miss serene days such as this, being able to actually step outside and not have to deal with the noise that goes on at home, just the feeling of air and those jacket wearing temperatures while you can think to yourself in peace. | Echos of the past: A Northern Autumn | Oct 21, 2021

5436 | Article | onipar | I hear ya. Once I moved the PA, I didn't really have the "Corner Store" experience any more. Town was close to five miles away, which we did attempt on our bikes now and then, but it was a bit of a ride. And there was this tiny shop much closer, but it was on a "couples resort" that we were technically not allowed to patronize...though we did on occasion. Fun fact, those pictures on the Milk Inn were from moving day in 1993 (from Brooklyn to PA). That department store sounds amazing though! I kinda missed out on the more "old timey" sorts of stores like that. | The Corner Store | Jun 09, 2021
2315 | Article | DirtyD79 | I hear ya on the one about the GI Joes. In addition to the rubber band inside breaking sometimes the thumbs would break off too. While the figures that had broken rubber bands we went the ghetto fab route and just taped them back together. The ones with the broken thumbs you could pretty much just put them in a vehicle since they couldn't hold guns or anything. A GIJoe who can't hold guns just isn't really a GI Joe anymore. It's like a Transformer that can't transform or a Ninja Turtle that couldn't hold swords. That was another one sometimes the hands would break off and well they'd be useless. Then again me and my bro were pretty rough on our toys. | Toy Annihilation | Jun 23, 2015 |
