2220ArticleVaporman87I had several shirts and hats I treasured. No pants though. LOL. One shirt I really loved was my Subway "Put A Foot In Your Mouth" shirt. It was just a plain white t-shirt with the Subway logo and the phrase I just mentioned emblazoned across the chest in red. I wore that shirt for decades (seriously, decades). Also, there was a Batman shirt that was black and had the Dark Knight standing in the shadows wearing his classic blue and grey garb. Finally, there was my Spuds McKenzie shirt in all it's bright pastel on white glory. I have a photo of me in that shirt from many years ago. It only recently was discarded, after the armpits became a crusty mass and it could no longer be comfortably worn. LOL Apr 18, 2015View
2218ArticleVaporman87Speaking of "plastic", I can recall purchasing wallets and pretending that the "cards" that came with it were actually valid and I would purchase myself several toys (that I just happened to already own). Ahhh, youth. Those charges were ones I never had to repay. If only it were that way with the cards I have now. LOLThe Pepsi Gotta Have It CardApr 14, 2015View
2217ArticleHoju KoolanderPretty awesome recollection of that brief moment in time. I wasn't allowed to drink caffeinated sodas, but the look of the Pepsi can prior to this re-design was such an iconic symbol of my childhood. I even invested in Pepsi Co. During my 6th grade stock market investment project. Way to dig up an not often discussed, but awesome topic. Well written too.The Pepsi Gotta Have It CardApr 14, 2015View
2216ArticleVaporman87Oh yeah, that's right. They weren't blood related. She would have been more like a step-sister (didn't they get married later on?).Hottest TV SistersApr 13, 2015View
2215ArticleHoju Koolander@both I totally wanted to add Alyssa as she was incredibly mesmerizing to me at 7 years old (commercials for that Teen Steam workout video rocked my world) but unfortunately she was nobody's sister and did not qualify for the list. A case could be made that she was Angela's son's surrogate sister, I just didn't think it fit. Definitely agree with you though. Hottest TV SistersApr 13, 2015View
2214ArticleOldSchool80sCompletely agree with Vaporman87. Excellent calls on Just the Ten of Us and Nicole Eggert plus I would also add both Olivia d'Abo from Wonder Years and Alyssa Milano. I am sure there are others that I am not thinking of yet, but great start!Hottest TV SistersApr 13, 2015View
2212ArticleEISXUOISI remember the Virtual Boy being a flop and Blockbuster had them for sale for like $30. I should've gotten one Doh! Great trip back to Blockbuster past!Timewarp: Blockbuster Video 1996Apr 11, 2015View
2211ArticleVaporman87Yeah... I'm finding it hard to disagree with you on about all of these. Especially the redhead from Just The Ten of Us and Nicole Eggert. They were both knockouts. I would also add the sister from The Wonder Years and Alyssa Milano from Who's The Boss. She was very attractive as well. Nice list here Hoju!Hottest TV SistersApr 11, 2015View
2209ArticleHoju Koolander@MissM That's awesome that you had all the April figures. I'm sure that included the cave-woman one, right? That whole prehistoric line was pretty wacky.Turtles: The Teenage Mutant KindApr 09, 2015View
2208ArticleMissMOk loved everything about this article. That first NES game was a nightmare. I still can't get past the third stage. The water stage and those bombs still gives me nightmares. I did love the arcade game thought. My first figure was April O'Neil. I remember doing really well on my grades in school and my mom was like, "We can go to the store and find an April figure for you." I loved the Turtles, but I always made sure to collect every version of April possible, and did they ever make some random off the wall April figures. It was hard not to be caught up in the phenomenon of the Turtles at that time. Or really any other time. The cool thing about this property over pretty much most properties from that time is that it has still managed to be a hit with every new version. Well, maybe not that live action series on Fox in the late 90's, but even that wasn't that bad from a toy perspective. Super fun article! Turtles: The Teenage Mutant KindApr 08, 2015View
