1047 | Article | Vaporman87 | I wasn't aware of the Jem movie or the Gummi Bears show reboot. Both are good news as far as I'm concerned. I would say, one property that is crying out for a reboot and/or movie is M.A.S.K. I would love to see a live action Matt Trakker on the big screen taking down Miles Mayhem and crew! Also, Starriors would make a great cartoon series (something the toy line never got originally). Who doesn't like giant robots battling each other? | Apr 02, 2014

1054 | Article | Vaporman87 | I'm glad you posted this article, E. I have never seen an episode of the show myself, but it always seemed so strange to me in the promos for the show. Yet it was indeed a big hit and seems to still have a cult following. When you mentioned the show "jumping the shark", as a result of the killer's identity being made know, it reminded me of a similar thing that happened with the show, "Ed". I really enjoyed that show for many of the same reasons you mention here... specifically the small town atmosphere that the show takes place in. When Ed finally marries the lead female character (played by Julie Bowen of Modern Family fame), the show just kind of lost it's gusto. It didn't carry on many episodes after that. As much as you really want to see the marriage happen, you end up regretting that it did. | Twin Peaks | Apr 08, 2014
1057 | Article | Vaporman87 | Out of these, of course I choose Vanessa Warfield... as I was a big fan of M.A.S.K. You basically had two characters in M.A.S.K. that were female, one good and one bad. Not a lot of choice for girls there, but better than none. Far shy of He-Man/She-Ra though. I believe my sister had an Entrapta figure. She had a large amount of She-Ra figs that would occasionally co-mingle with my He-Man characters. I don't remember much about Sour Grapes. Only the Peculiar Purple Pie Man. I'm not familiar with the other villains here. | Top Five Female Villain Toys | Apr 14, 2014
1058 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was VERY glad to hear about The Goonies making a comeback. Such a great film. Hopefully it is fun and fresh, while still paying a great deal of homage to the original. | The Goonies 'R' Good Enough | Apr 14, 2014
1060 | Article | Vaporman87 | That stinks! It would have been very cool to look back on now! | The Goonies 'R' Good Enough | Apr 14, 2014
1064 | Article | Vaporman87 | I miss Oreo's cereal and Dunkin' Donuts! Both were very tasty, if not very healthy. lol. I always disliked Tab. It tasted just awful. But Diet Rite... that's like tasting a zombie broken down into a soda. It's horrifically bad. My grandma always had it in her fridge, and it was about the ONLY soda/pop she had. | A Logo of Love | Apr 15, 2014

1068 | Article | Vaporman87 | I would like to hear some of these songs "remixed" with updated beats and sounds. Some of the overall sound would really play well even today. I think it's great that Jem is getting a movie (finally) and although some today may wonder who the heck she is, Jem is something that could appeal to a large group of people of all ages. | Jem and the Holograms: Top Five Songs | May 01, 2014
1069 | Article | Vaporman87 | I too greatly enjoyed Garfield and Friends, though when I watched it it was airing on network television. I was not aware that U.S. Acres was a comic strip by Davis that inspired the second half of each show. Thanks for that info. I never watched much of Rugrats or Hey Arnold!, so I can't really comment on them. I do know that their popularity (especially Rugrats) was readily apparent, even if you never watched a single episode. They were everywhere at one time. Lots of commercialization. I think my favorite SpongeBob episode is the one where SpongeBob meets Mermaidman and Barnacle Boy. You have to love Ernest Borgnine and Tim Conway! My daughter was a big Blues Clues fan when she was around three years old. She hasn't seen an episode of it for a few years now, but I feel a bit nostalgic for it, only because of the enjoyment we got out of it together.
