2399ArticleoniparThanks for reading! I have to dig out some more old photos and try to keep this series going. Yeah, it's all about not letting others dictate how we live. Gamegear to pass the time is perfect! :-) Those looks you were getting: envy. :-) Jul 14, 2015View
2473ArticleoniparGood review! I've only recently purchased a Gamecube, and while I've enjoyed some games, I have to say, the inability to change the inverted axis for games like this one and Luigi's Mansion ruins the games for me. It's my own damn fault for not being able to adapt, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it, and so end up having to stop playing those games. Which of course is the pits.Article Classic: Super Mario Sunshine ReviewAug 06, 2015View
2486ArticleoniparOh yeah, those winter gloves! I loved hypercolor AND the gloves. It was brilliant. I think I was still young enough that sweaty pits didn't bother me much :-)Do You Remember: HyperColor ShirtsAug 07, 2015View
2493ArticleoniparSo glad you enjoyed this! I've been wanting to write some stories about childhood events in Brooklyn, and I was excited to have a bit of motivation to finally do so. A Flurry of Hadoukens and ShoryukensAug 10, 2015View
2498ArticleoniparThat sounds amazing! I wish places like this still existed. Maybe they do somewhere? Maybe if the console arcade in my town had adopted that same business plan of selling the games as well, they would have lasted longer. I wish they had.A New Kind of ArcadeAug 10, 2015View
2506ArticleoniparYeah, in reality I'm pretty sure I rented much more often than I traded, but the trades always held a certain sacred place in my heart. :-)A Summer QuestAug 12, 2015View
2513ArticleoniparSuch a great article! It's funny too because I just ordered the 5-pack of NES games here on RD, and one of the games I chose was Little Nemo. I don't think I've ever played the game before though, now I'm really looking forward to it. Little NemoAug 13, 2015View
2519ArticleoniparHa, too true. There was a point when I had at least one friend with each system, making the console-arcade fairly obsolete. Still, I can't help but think a tweaked version of this would be a great hangout even today. Kind of Dave and Busters style, only when you get your table, you "order" a console or two to play while you drink and wait for food. :-pA New Kind of ArcadeAug 14, 2015View
2525ArticleoniparOh that Dace Coulier, what *can't* he do!? :-p Great article of facts. I loved reading this one. I didn't know a single one of these things. Retro-rating approved! :-) Little Known Facts About 25 of Your Favorite 80's Cartoons!Aug 14, 2015View
2534ArticleoniparThanks, Hoju! Yeah, the arcade bullies were the worst. I have probably a couple more stories about that sort of thing.A Flurry of Hadoukens and ShoryukensAug 17, 2015View
