ArticleVaporman87Welcome to RD! This was an excellent read. It's always surprising when a great article comes out of nowhere from a new member. Thank you for sharing it with us. Blast to the Past sounds like an amazing store. I found myself wishing that such a place had been around in my youth. I would occasionally visit places in my youth that were somewhat similar, but none had a selection like that you've mentioned here. It just sounds like an amazing place. It's always hard to see those places we grew up loving change or shut down. Like a piece of our childhood just disappeared. But at least when you share those memories, the place lives on in a way.  Feb 28, 2016View
ArticleVaporman87Man, China Town sounds like an amazing place. So vibrant, full of culture, and full of things that would have made a young Vaporman87 flip out. My question is... did you ever run across any Mogwai in your visits there? China TownFeb 28, 2016View
ArticleVaporman87I was trying to think of which of these athletes had the most affect on popular culture, and the easy answer is Michael Jordan. The only other "sports" figure that comes close would be Hulk Hogan. Using the term "sports" very loosely there. The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90'sFeb 28, 2016View
ArticleVaporman87It's too bad that Masters of the Universe didn't get a sequel. But hopefully the rumors of a reboot will eventually come about, and we will get a proper MOTU film. On another note, that Vaporman87 clown sounds like a hillbilly nerd who thinks he knows it all.Lost Sequels of the 80sFeb 28, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityWow. Great first article. Welcome to Retro Daze! I'm totally jealous. That store sounds like it was amazing! I spent alot of time in sports card stores and comic shops as a kid, so I know the thrill of finding a magical place that just gets you. Sadly, nowadays there arent many places that you can goto in person and feel that way. Luckily places like Retro Daze exist for the social aspect and eBay for the material part.Blast to the Past!Feb 28, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityI find it interesting how much better weekends seemed when we were kids. Things were simple and expectations were so low. I really miss that. Great article!Memories of a Perfect WeekendFeb 28, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityMan, I totally forgot about cross sections! I loved browsing through them. I was also a big fan of the Choose Your Own Adventure. I'd usually get irritated and quit when things didn't got the way I wanted them to. The Library Feb 28, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityGreat list, but you totally skipped over Wayne Gretzky and Magic Johnson! Although, one might argue that Magic was a bigger deal in the 80s.The Non-Sports Fan's Guide to Iconic Athletes of the 90'sFeb 28, 2016View
ArticleBenjanimeoh no, I'm not one of die hard fans of the video games, i just enjoyed that show in particular and I hated seeing it get cut off from cancellation.Mighty Morphin Ripoff Rangers Part 1Feb 28, 2016View
ArticleThatDudeintheHoodieThanks :) I enjoy doing these types of articles, though it takes a lot more inspiration to do. After my annual Nickelodeon article I'll probably do a Pokemon article next. Since that has it's own set of memories I'd like to share.Memories of a Perfect WeekendFeb 28, 2016View
