2457ArticleMr MagicMetropolis doesn't get any easier when you deal with three acts, does it? Aug 04, 2015View
2456ArticleVaporman87I'm going to have to check that out. What platforms will it be on?Top Ten Video Games That I Played During SummerAug 04, 2015View
2455ArticleBenjanimeI hated metropolis zone, with those bug looking enemies that toss their claws and the robot starfish that floats your way and shoots its thorns.Top Ten Video Games That I Played During SummerAug 04, 2015View
2454ArticleMr MagicI was a Sonic 2 addict at one point. I had that and a Genesis for my b-day in '94. Wing Fortress and Death Egg are both a pain in the butt. Very hard to complete.Top Ten Video Games That I Played During SummerAug 04, 2015View

2451ArticleVaporman87I was always a Bases Loaded guy. That game gave me and my friends so many hours of competitive fun. But when Baseball Stars came out, I have to say it did steal some of Bases Loaded's thunder. I loved creating my own teams and players(I can even tell you the one I used the most, Grate's Gung-Hos). I loved earning money and making the team and players better. If there was one thing I REALLY wished Jaleco would have done with Bases Loaded 2, it would have been adding the creative aspects of Baseball Stars in. Great trip down Memory Lane OldSchool!Retro Gaming: Baseball Stars for NintendoAug 03, 2015View
2450ArticleVaporman87Sonic CD and Earthworm Jim are two great games from this list. Earthworm Jim always appealed to me because of the cooky nature of it's protagonist and story. I became a fan of Doug TenNapel after this game was released. Such a creative mind and interesting personality. Top Ten Video Games That I Played During SummerAug 03, 2015View
2449ArticleVaporman87I wonder how socially scorned they would be if we sent them to school with all the coolest stuff... from when WE were in school? They could tell them it's "retro cool" and classified as memorabilia. Hmmm.Retro School SuppliesAug 03, 2015View
2448ArticlemickyarberSuch a fun article! This one brings back so many memories. And you're right, your level of school supply directly affected your social standing. Parents never understood that though. To them a folder was a folder. But not to us kids. A plain green folder was surely no where near as cool as a GI Joe folder. You could be kicked out of your friend circle for that kind of social snafu. Once upon a time, all of my friends had new Trapper Keepers, while I showed up with a baby blue colored knock off. That was a tough few months of that school year. As for the lunch boxes, the metal ones most definitely were superior to their plastic cousins. But at our school, I don't remember what grade, it became cooler to carry your lunch in a paper bag like the high school guys that it did to sport a plastic lunch box like the 1st graders. So many memories associated with this article. You really picked a great topic to write about. Now when I take my kids back to school shopping this weekend, I'll have this article in mind and remember what it's like to have the off brand Trapper Keeper, and try not to let myself be "that" parent.Retro School SuppliesAug 03, 2015View
2447ArticleVaporman87I hope to catch this series some time. Perhaps on YouTube or elsewhere. I hate that I missed it on it's first go around. This is something that would have interested me in my youth. I like shows like this and Fantasy Island. Anything with a bit of intrigue and mystery/adventure.A Look Back at Tales of the Gold MonkeyAug 02, 2015View
