Articleechidna64A lot of this struck home- the constant ridicule and the feeling of being isolated from the rest of the group. One time in 5th grade I had 3rd degree sunburn and so what started as a few kids slapping me on the neck turned into the whole class turning against me and hitting me with their binders. The bullying only stopped when I fought back. I could take the criticism but when someone else was being bullied it was a different story. I got into a fight on the bus and I actually sent the little jerk to the hospital. His face swelled up like a grape and he was actually so embarrassed after so much trash talking that he changed schools. After that everyone I was like a legend and not only did people not mess with me, they left my entire family and my younger brothers alone lol  Feb 02, 2016View
ArticleRick Ace RhodesThanks for the comments guys. This was a hard one to write, I actually got a little emotional when I was creating that sheet of paper photo. I'm glad to hear your own stories about bullying and overcoming it.Being BulliedFeb 02, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityWow Rick. That was one heck of a journey. Thanks for sharing, I know that wasn't easy to write. Being BulliedFeb 03, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityMy brother and I had a bunk bed that was pretty cool. It was wooden, and didn't have that colorful look like the images of the ones above, but you could actually unstack the beds into single twin beds. So, when we got older, my dad was able to provide us each with our own beds for our rooms. Still, I would have traded in my bunk beds for a race car bed any day of the week. I wanted one of them so bad.Bunk BedsFeb 03, 2016View
ArticlemassrealityI'm pretty happy with your list, but there is no way Thunderhawk trumps the Ecto-1. Come on!5 Best TV Cars of the 80sFeb 03, 2016View
ArticleVaporman87I was sitting here thinking, "But Ecto-1 was a movie based car". However, it was in the Real Ghostbusters cartoon, wasn't it? So I guess it COULD qualify in this list.5 Best TV Cars of the 80sFeb 03, 2016View
ArticleOldSchool80sWCW was on TBS back in the 80s and had a lot of good stuff going on well before the time you are describing too. When I think of WCW, I think first about the 4 Horsemen, Dusty Rhodes, Rock n Roll Express, Midnight Express, Magnum TA, Nikita Koloff, Road Warriors and that era. Then Sting helped make the transition to that 90s era which had a nice run as well. There was a stretch when I significantly preferred WCW to WWE. Everything seemed to be going well until they got rid of Bischoff and brought in Vince Russo. In Defense of World Championship WrestlingFeb 03, 2016View
ArticleOldSchool80sThanks for sharing and glad things turned out better in the end. It is sad to think how much physical and psychological damage people can cause so recklessly.Being BulliedFeb 03, 2016View

ArticleHoju Koolander@massreality You're right, I totally spaced on Ecto-1 since I wasn;t thinking about the animated series. Now that I think about it, Inspector Gadget's GadgetMobile was pretty awesome too, so it gets a runner-up prize.5 Best TV Cars of the 80sFeb 05, 2016View
