533VideoBenjanimeit's funny how these games were like $30 back in the day and now they're around $5 to $10 now Mar 27, 2013View
327VideoVaporman87It's funny that you should post this now. Last night my wife, oldest son, and I watched Wreck-It Ralph and I cracked up at the part where he digs a "!" out of the box in Tapper's bar. Funny stuff.Early Metal Gear Solid TrailerFeb 14, 2013View
2110ArticleRuespielerIt's funny that you wrote this. A few months ago I was looking at the "cheap" toy aisle at a local department store, and was shocked by how little had changed. It really did bring me back, 90% of the toys there would have been right at home in my toy box, more than 30 years ago. Everything else in toys is different, but not that aisle. An you're right, the dollars earned on those same molds must be in the hundreds of millions of dollars by now. Has to be some kind of record. Poor Kids ToyboxMar 19, 2015View

4887ArticleVaporman87It's funny to remember just how much we considered ownership of a cell phone a status symbol. Only the richest and most important people owned one, or so we thought. Now people own cell phones that don't even have running water. Priorities.First Cell Phone Made Available for Sale Commercially in 1983 Mar 14, 2019View

2507ArticleVaporman87It's good to have you here with us. Any family of Ben is certainly welcome here. I too own The Killing Joke, though I'm not certain I have ever read it all the way through. But yes, owning Graphic Novels is definitely the way to go if you're just catching up on some of the better storylines. I would like to pick up a novel of Civil War, and also the old Secret Wars story (not the new one). Thanks for sharing! The Cereal Box in the ClosetAug 12, 2015View
1588ArticleVaporman87It's good to see you BOTH stopping by now and then. It's nice to have places to come and share thoughts and stories together, in addition to the sites and podcasts we all maintain on our own. Thanks guys! 3304ArticlemassrealityIt's great that Raven has gotten some mentions in the comments. He was always one of my favorites. His feud against DDP is my all-time favorite feud. 2529ArticleHoju KoolanderIt's great to have both brothers contributing now, especially since it sounds like your retro-interests are closer to mine than Benjanime's (he's a fine writer, I just can't relate to his articles most of the time). Though I'm much too aware of my comic book collecting, it love the idea of finding a secret stash I forgot about. As a dedicated fan of all the Robin's in my youth, A Death In The Family is one of my favorites as well and it paved the way for my favorite Robin, Tim Drake. I am actually just reading The Killing Joke for the first time right now and man, is it twisted. I'll be curious to see the animated version, since they did a pretty good job being faithful to The Dark Knight Returns. Looking forward to more articles from you, maybe about your action figure collecting? The Cereal Box in the ClosetAug 16, 2015View
