3909ArticlepikachuloverI really liked California Dreams a lot. I think it was the only show than ran for more than 1 season that I watched on T-NBC regularly. I only remember City Guys because KTLA used to show it to meet e/i requirements. It came on before Pokemon. I would catch the end of it while waiting to watch Pokemon. Hang Time was good, but after they really retooled it for season 2 I stopped watching. I really liked Student Bodies. I liked the cartoon element of it. I liked it because I wanted to be a cartoonist for my school paper back then. I remember there was that clumsy character named Grace. One show people don't really remember was Running the Halls. It only ran on NBC Saturday morning for one season in 1993-1994.  May 28, 2017View

2878ArticleHoju KoolanderI really enjoyed this story. Such a funny and unexpected twist, but the best part is that you introduced your brother to something he now loves. I love that the Mark of the Thorn is what doomed you to sharing your room for 8 months. The Michael Myers ConnectionOct 12, 2015View
611ArticleVaporman87I really enjoyed the image of your growing collection of figures from your past. Most of my figures were doomed to a similar fate as yours, with parents selling them off in yard sales (with, regrettably, my approval) or simply lost or tossed. It seems that, despite your not growing up in the decade you really wanted to do so in, you were able to capture a bit of it with the hand-me-down toys of the 80's. That's a good start. :) Great read vkimo! Thanks for this.Masters of the Toybox May 06, 2013View

1004ArticleIllustratorErikI really don't remember exchanging Valentine's card other than in Elementary School in decorated shoeboxes, and even then it was one card for everyone. I'm curious if thats changed much or at all since then. For the Love of V-Day! Part 4Feb 17, 2014View
2418ArticlemickyarberI really dig this story. It reminds me of the long summer days my cousin Tim and I would road all over the 43 acres I grew up on. I had almost forgotten those adventures, but so many of them came rushing back to me while reading this. I love it.Digging for TreasureJul 23, 2015View
1151ArticlevkimoI really dig the custom art! Being stuffed in a Rabbit for any length of time is admirable. I remember one time we planned this vacation to Sacramento, about 3 hours away. It was a sweltering day. My parents had 3 cars at the time, all junkers. First we took the 88 Cutlass and were driving about 2 hours before it started to overheat. I remember my dad throwing his cigarette out the window and turning back. Then we got into the Buick and made it a little farther but it too started to overheat. We finally gave up and went home. On the way back the cigarette my dad threw out caused a small fire on the side of the highway and we saw firetrucks scrambling. That was about it.Galaga RisingJun 16, 2014View
2250ArticleVaporman87I really can't fault any of these selections. They were all great and fun games. I would probably have a hard time leaving Ninja Gaiden, Bases Loaded, and a few others off the list though. But I think, at least as far as Bases Loaded is concerned, that has more to do with my personal experiences and investment in the game than it does quality or fun factor. Metroid is another great title that's hard to dismiss, as is Jackal. Soooo many choices... it just comes down to personal preference in the end.NES: The 5 Best GamesMay 11, 2015View
