2982 | Article | Vaporman87 | A perfect article for Back To The Future Day! Thanks for making it official here at the Daze. I'm looking forward to hearing your new Podcast. I think it's a fun idea for a theme, and one I'd be interested in listening to when time allows. | Oct 21, 2015
2985 | Article | NLogan | A little weirded out hearing the Koolander's voice. Not exactly what I pictured my favorite black suited wall crawler's voice to be. Now we have seen the videos and pictures, now we have the adult voice. Next we will have your soul (read of course in an Andre the Giant as Fezzik as the Dread Pirate Robert's voice).
| Back To The Future Memories | Oct 21, 2015 | |
2987 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @NLogan Yeah, I figured it might be a bit jarring for some to hear the voice behind the words. Hope it's not TOO annoying. Thanks for taking a listen. | Back To The Future Memories | Oct 22, 2015
2989 | Article | echidna64 | Great article Hoju! Back to the Future is a wonderful trilogy and I even played "The Power of Love" at my wedding haha it was a huge hit! I really like your podcast idea and am greatly looking forward to it! Are you doing hypothetical sequels too? Hit me up sometime, I dreaming up sequels is practically a past-time for me and I've cooked up everything from Terminator, Star Wars, and even Spider-Man! | Back To The Future Memories | Oct 23, 2015
3008 | Article | Hoju Koolander | @echidna64 Hey, send me a private message and we can talk about it. I'd be curious to hear some of your ideas and see if you could contribute down the road. | Back To The Future Memories | Oct 23, 2015
2953 | Article | Vaporman87 | Epic. lol. Just epic, this. On the down side, it's pretty easy to see why Halloween sucked for you. I mean... pooping your pants... that pretty much seals the deal. But there are just so many reasons here for you to despise Halloween, yet you seem to have made peace with it. Perhaps as time goes on, and you have kids of your own, then Halloween will become what it should have always been for you... a joy. | Halloween Sucks | Oct 15, 2015
2959 | Article | jkatz | That was a good read. I spent the first 4 years of my life in an small neighborhood that was populated with almost nothing but older retirees. We were the only young family in the neighborhood and I swear to God that they prepped every year for it. Homemade cookies and such aplenty. Recently I went back to where I grew up and every one of those sweet grannies and overenthusiastic grandpas were dead except for one couple. | Halloween Sucks | Oct 15, 2015
2961 | Article | Rick Ace Rhodes | @Vaporman87 Thanks man. Looking back it was more trick or treating then the holiday that made me hate it. But then again trick or treating is the whole point of the holiday. | Halloween Sucks | Oct 16, 2015
2952 | Article | Vaporman87 | Okay so, I'm going to be up front and confess that I am pretty sure this is the first article I have read here that brought a little moisture to my eyes. I can't imagine losing a parent at such a young age, then having to face that and the holiday that really brought you both so much joy all at once every year thereafter. That you treat it more like a celebration of those times instead of a time to mourn is honorable and amazing. I can't know what you went through, but I too lost my mother in late October (actually the day after my wedding anniversary). So celebrating our anniversary and mourning the death of my mom are almost inseparable. But in the end both days are really a celebration of love. Love gained and love lost. | I was born in love with Halloween. | Oct 15, 2015
2955 | Article | NLogan | Loved the personal pictures and memories of your mom and your Halloweens of the past. I still believe in the magic of Halloween and the fun of becoming anything for one night. I am glad that Halloween was there to save you when you needed it most. | I was born in love with Halloween. | Oct 15, 2015 |
