5380 | Article | pikachulover | I still have my Pokémon carrying case with my Game Boy color still in it. I remember them being sold at KB on Black Friday. I found mine a few months later at a Big Lots store. Mine is purple with black trim. | Feb 05, 2021
5398 | Article | pikachulover | I remember I used keep breeding eevee, so I could have all the different ones. That was the first Pokemon game I beat. | Remembering Pok'emon Gold and Silver | Feb 25, 2021
5632 | Article | pikachulover | I wanted Floam so badly my family found some at a discount store. My parents let me have it but I had to use it on a protected surface. My parents were not usually like that. Stuff made a big mess and I was so disappointed. I hated selling a bunch of stuff and only getting an eraser or a bookmark or some cheap item. After a while I stopped selling stuff. I got sick trying to sell things nobody ?i knew wanted and getting bad prizes. Somebody did that to me too, but with a 1994 Toys R Us wishbook catalogue thing. Some guy borrowed it then claimed his little sister "ripped it up". Then he brought it to school a few days later. When I asked he acted like he had no idea what he was talking about. | Top four disappointing moments of childhood | Apr 27, 2022
5648 | Article | pikachulover | I only remember Hidden Treasures and Sprinkle Spangles. I begged my parents to buy me a box of Hidden Treasures and they tasted awful! You could always find the grape pieces because they were purple inside. I remember Sprinkle Spangles because they sent me a free sample. They were ok, but not good enough to buy a full size box. | Rarely Remembered Cereals | Jun 16, 2022
104 | Article | ProphetSword | I'm not much of a fan of Pokemon, but at least this article helped me understand some of the fad. That's something, at least. | Article Classic: The Pok'emon Fad | Dec 30, 2012
107 | Article | ProphetSword | I probably should point out before someone tries to call foul that this is an article/review I originally wrote back in 2002 for the Lemon Commodore 64 webpage (and you'll notice their address is included in the pictures). I am the author, I didn't steal it. Just wanted to make sure that people are aware of that. | Classic Games: The Great American Cross Country Road Race | Dec 31, 2012
109 | Article | ProphetSword | I see something went a little wacky with the first picture in the article. I wonder why that is? | Classic Games: Karateka for the Commdore 64 | Dec 31, 2012
202 | Article | ProphetSword | Great article. I remember Showbiz pizza. Didn't realize that there was such a sordid history behind all this, though. That was an eye-opener. | ShowBiz Pizza Remembered | Jan 25, 2013
346 | Article | ProphetSword | I'd heard of this game in passing, but never really experienced it. It was interesting reading about it. I checked it out just for historical purposes. Even though I didn't enjoy it in this modern environment, I saw where I might have liked it back when it was new (in fact, I probably would have played the hell out of it). But things have changed too much to enjoy it now (at least for me). Good job. | Meridian 59 Remembered | Feb 18, 2013
471 | Article | ProphetSword | I remember the McDLT pretty well. I was a teenager working at McDonalds in that era, and I both made and ate them. They were awesome. One sandwich not mentioned here (that I really wish McDonalds would bring back) is the Cheddar Melt, which came out in 1988. I remember being the guy who was selected to teach everyone else about how to make them. | McDonald's 80's New Menu Items | Mar 04, 2013 |
