4843Articlepikachulover@Vaporman The ones I remembered most from other classmates were the ones I would get and say "I wish I gotten some (franchise/property)". @Benjanime I found the pictures on both series of the Pokemon Valentines seemed to be very generic.  Feb 08, 2019View
4844ArticlepikachuloverMy neighbor and I used to go the Toys R Us and look at the play 80s wigs. And I found some late 80s style Mickey Mouse stuff if you put "80s Mickey" sometimes you can find it. Sears Wishbook Finds 1986-1989Feb 09, 2019View

4904ArticlepikachuloverI like Madness' cover of "It Must be Love". I also enjoy Depeche Mode's cover of "Route 66." It's one of the few uptempo songs Martin Gore sings lead on. Although it was a B-side to "Behind the Wheel". Top Cover Songs of the 80sApr 12, 2019View
4968ArticlepikachuloverI had a bunch of those items growing up. The Ducktales book, the Little Mermaid book, The Snow White and Disney Mother Goose books on tape. The Mother Goose one was one my favorites to listen to and I had it memorized. Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby but the book and cassette version. A knockoff Super Soaker, Beauty and the Beast stickers, and the McDonald's Tamagotchi toy. I had the poster of the cat with the Teddy bear and the Safety in Numbers one. I remember what a big deal that Save by the Bell poster was in my 4th grade class. I think you got it free with an order from the book club. I think I purposely didn't order books so I would not get the poster. Temple of Retro ToysJul 17, 2019View
5024ArticlepikachuloverI usually got what I wanted for school supplies. There were a few exceptions. I didn't get a Trapper Keeper until I was in 6th grade. But I did get some fun folders like Lisa Frank, Disney and Garfield. Applause made some pun pencils. I had a Marsupilami one that had him twirl around when you wrote with it. I had some fun lunchboxes; Darkwing Duck, My Little Pony, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Rescue Rangers. I had a Looney Tunes one but someone stole it. I don't consider Lunchables because they were more of a treat for me than having a sandwich for lunch. I usually took my lunch to school anyway. I didn't like to take my markers or my fun shaped erasers or fat multi color pen to school. Because the other kids would steal and ruin them. Benjanime's Back to School EssentialsAug 28, 2019View
5054ArticlepikachuloverI don't think I watched this show when it first ran I think I caught some reruns many years later. To me I thought the concept was so strange even for a throwaway kids' cartoon in the early 90s. The one thing I noticed is that when this show aired they all played for teams based out of Los Angeles or Chicago. Jordan; Chicago Bulls. Gretzky ; Los Angeles Kings. Jackson; Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Raiders. When Bo, Jordan, and Gretzky Ruled the WorldSep 30, 2019View
5119ArticlepikachuloverI remember this show. I used to watch it. It wasn't my favorite but I liked it. Another short lived talking dog series I liked was The Secret Files of the Spy Dogs. I think I just really like talking crime fighting dog cartoons. The Under Appreciated “Road Rovers”Feb 06, 2020View
5206ArticlepikachuloverI used to go to Suncoast for collectables. I got a Sailor Moon backpack there. They also sold manga there. Making the anime nerd transitionMay 17, 2020View
