1335 | Article | pikachulover | @Hoju Koolander At least 4 of my cousins worked there and 2 family friends. Every year they were different things. What did you dress as at Disneyland? Actually since this article proved to be popular I'll post another Haunt one. I had enough material for 2 articles. | Sep 26, 2014
1336 | Article | pikachulover | You can only go so many times before you get bored of it. I lived by the Toys R Us when I was young from ages 2-8. Actually when relatives come to visit we would entrain them by taking them on a trip to the Toys R Us. My cousins used to buy board games and visit my house. Play the game at my house, and then return the game and complained it was "boring". That location closed in the mid 90s. It got replaced by the Montebello store by the mall. | Timewarp: Toys R Us 1987 | Sep 26, 2014
1347 | Article | pikachulover | I liked to play with the vending machine slime you could get for a quarter. I like silly putty too. When I was like 8 I made my own slime out of dried up playdoh and water. I was trying to revive it, but I made slime instead. I used to use it as baby food for my dolls and "food" in my play dishes. Some of the dishes are stained from the slime I made. Nickelodeon Floam was awful! It made a mess everywhere! Zand was better. | Slime Time! | Sep 30, 2014
1349 | Article | pikachulover | My dolls weren't eating french fries and Perrier. It was more runny than slimy. | Slime Time! | Oct 01, 2014
1378 | Article | pikachulover | @NLogan Me too I wish I could go all out. If I lived in a house. Nobody seems to come to my apartment, and there are a lot of children that live around my neighborhood. | Flannel Cornucopia | Oct 05, 2014
1386 | Article | pikachulover | @comic_book_fan That's too bad about your pneumonia. :( | The Summer of 1995 | Oct 06, 2014
1407 | Article | pikachulover | Cedar Fair took over in the late 90s I think. The Halloween Haunt was the first of its kind for theme parks. | Haunting Memories | Oct 09, 2014
1416 | Article | pikachulover | @Hoju I remember the times I went to Elvira she was set up near the bumper cars. Her merchandise would be for sale after the show. It was mostly makeup. Too bad about that ride. I heard it had to be closed down because the roof caved in. The park should really do something with it. Even if they have to knock it down. It's in a good location and it has a lot of potential. They could expand the arcade or put a store there or something. | Haunting Memories | Oct 10, 2014
1417 | Article | pikachulover | The 4Kids block started the year I started college. So that was like a ceremonial ushering in of things. I don't know some of the 4Kids shows were watchable. I really liked the Winx Club, Fighting Foodons, Kirby, and Dinosaur King. ABC ran some decent cartoons for a few years in the early 2000s like Filmore. Sometimes when I'm feeling nostalgic I watch old Saturday morning cartoon commercial blocks on youtube. Sometimes I use them for article research. | R.I.P. 1420 | Article | pikachulover | I kinda regret I never went to the Movieland Wax Museum. In school I remember stories about Bloody Mary and the Chupacabra. When I was told about what she really was it was way scary. The kids at school used to say they would see the Chupacabra at the train tracks by the local McDonalds. | Scary Stories from the Schoolyard | Oct 13, 2014 |
