3393 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was trying to think of which of these athletes had the most affect on popular culture, and the easy answer is Michael Jordan. The only other "sports" figure that comes close would be Hulk Hogan. Using the term "sports" very loosely there. | Feb 28, 2016
4382 | Article | pikachulover | I was using broadcast intrusions as the inspiration of a story I'm writing. | Captain Midnight & Max Headroom TV Broadcast Intrusions | May 09, 2018
4045 | Article | Superman | I was very fond of Scooby-Doo during my childhood, much to my mom's dismay since she couldn't stand him. He's probably still my favorite Hanna-Barbera character, even now. | My Five All Time Favorite Hanna Barbera Toons | Aug 07, 2017
1058 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was VERY glad to hear about The Goonies making a comeback. Such a great film. Hopefully it is fun and fresh, while still paying a great deal of homage to the original. | The Goonies 'R' Good Enough | Apr 14, 2014
4111 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was with my wife (then girlfriend) in my work truck, delivering cylinders. We had stopped at a gas station to pick up something to eat. When I returned I heard on the news that a plane had hit the WTC. At first, I thought they meant a small passenger plane. Like some random person might have lost control and hit it. Then the second plane hit and more details emerged. These were not small planes, and it was no accident. The rest of the day I spent listening in on the radio as I worked. Then when I returned to the office I watched the images and was horrified. Like you said, never before had I felt more of a camaraderie with my fellow citizens than the weeks following the attacks. We were a country united under one common cause. Politics, race, social standing... all of that was gone for a brief moment in time. Tragic as it was, there was also beauty. Naturally, that wouldn't last. But it's something I can carry with me forever. | Where Were You That September Day? | Sep 11, 2017
5369 | Article | Vaporman87 | I was, and still am, a fan of Earthworm Jim. I loved the bizarre humor of the games, and then was able to get my hands on a few comics and tune in to the animated show. I appreciate the art and humor of Doug TenNapel. Not only that, but his upbringing kind of formed him into a similar person to myself. We both attended Nazarene universities, we both like to illustrate and create, we have similar political views... things just align. | The rise, fall, and resurgence of Earthworm Jim | Jan 19, 2021
1047 | Article | Vaporman87 | I wasn't aware of the Jem movie or the Gummi Bears show reboot. Both are good news as far as I'm concerned. I would say, one property that is crying out for a reboot and/or movie is M.A.S.K. I would love to see a live action Matt Trakker on the big screen taking down Miles Mayhem and crew! Also, Starriors would make a great cartoon series (something the toy line never got originally). Who doesn't like giant robots battling each other? | Movie This! | Apr 02, 2014
720 | Video | blueluigi | I wasn't collecting Playstation Underground stuff but I did have a subscription to Playstation Magazine. I had a lot of demo discs from there and still do to this very day. I do have a few of the Playstation Underground Jampacks, which made me want to have a subscription to their magazine. Though, that ended up not happening. | Playstation Underground promo | Jun 18, 2013
1885 | Article | fuschnikt | I wasn't the oldest kid, but I did have a treehouse. Nothing that elaborate, though. I guess my brother could have been the older kid. Except he never really hung around us younger kids. On occasion, however, he did let us throw snaps at him while he ran around the yard. | The Older Kid | Feb 04, 2015
4102 | Article | pikachulover | I watched all those blocks except the Snick one because I didn't have cable growing up. I watched Fox Kids until it's demise in the fall of 2002. | Five Childhood Programming Line Ups I Loved | Sep 03, 2017 |
