Even when you don't, the feeling is highly memorable. I've never been in a place that I felt was "haunted". I have been in places where you felt the "ghosts" of what used to be. Dilapidated houses that left much to your imagination as to what things must have been like when it was actually someone's dwelling. Your imagination takes over, and you envision what might have been. That in itself feels a bit supernatural, if not overly fanciful.
