1717ArticleVaporman87I was never one of those kids that were frightened of Santa... or the Easter Bunny, or any other Holiday legend for that matter. Well, excepting any Halloween related legends that is. The nice thing this year about visiting Santa, was that all three of my kids were happy to do so. That is a first. Usually, at least one of them was either not excited to, or just plain frightened to sit on his lap for pictures. My oldest son actually had difficulty holding back a big smile his year. That was awesome to witness. I love the stories and pictures you have added in this. Hilarious! Dec 20, 2014View
1015ArticleVaporman87I was never a Power Rangers fan. I think, mainly, because the whole Japanese invasion (with Pokemon, Power Rangers, etc.) came after I was already off and into college. That being said, I respect the success of this show. Few shows are able to continue capturing the attention of new generations of kids, but this is one of them. The show has cemented it's place among the the greats... He-Man, G.I. Joe, Transformers, etc. Regarding the figures, these just scream mid-90's. Everything about them reminds me of lines like those created by Toy Biz and Trendmasters. I find it hilarious that the company couldn't be bothered to give the female characters female bodies. It looks... weird. lol Thanks for this Miss M!Flipped Out for Power Rangers!Feb 21, 2014View

3232ArticleVaporman87I was never a fan of the AoStH series, as it was far cornier than the other Sonic cartoon series. My favorite American produced Sonic program was the Sonic The Hedgehog series with Sally and the Freedom Fighters. That one had Gary Chalk playing Robotnik (he later played Man-At-Arms in the 200X MOTU series). But the best Sonic program produced by any country was the Japanese "Sonic X" show. 1524ArticleOldSchool80sI was more of a Marvel guy. My favorite series was The Avengers. Always enjoyed the interaction of all of those big characters. (I enjoyed Justice League of America in DC for the same reason). Thor has been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember. Another would be Daredevil. Comics still hold a special place for me. 4426ArticleSupermanI was kind of like you as a kid in that I wasn't all that into sports, so I never read that much of Sports Illustrated. Still, this was a nice look back at the magazine.Retro Magazine RoundUp: Sports Illustrated 1994Jun 15, 2018View
3479ArticleHoju KoolanderI was just telling my wife about Superman Peanut Butter last week. It was always a request of mine at the supermarket, but I usually had to settle for Peter Pan brand as my fictional character tie-in condiment. I can't believe I missed the Super-hero burger, but if it was only around for a month, i guess that explains it.Foods Long Gone: The SequelMar 23, 2016View
1080ArticleVaporman87I was indeed a fan of Bob's. He was a great actor and by all accounts a decent fellow. These passings are a sober reminder that, though we may live separate lives in completely different cultures, we all share the same fate... even those "larger than life" stars. He will be greatly missed. Farewell Bob HoskinsMay 06, 2014View
